WWE Smackdown Results returned as Sonya Deville held up the match to swap out jobs with Charles Robinson so she’d be the ref.

    Again, really?

Deville motioned for the bell and Flair nailed her and quickly stomped her down and slammed her into the mat face first numerous times.

    What is @SonyaDevilleWWE up to now…? 🤔 #SmackDown @MsCharlotteWWE @NaomiWWE pic.twitter.com/rztfP7UZkg

    — WWE (@WWE) January 22, 2022

Naomi fought back, but Flair locked in a Boston Crab. Naomi fought out of it and kicked Flair into Deville to knock her to the floor.

While Naomi yelled at Deville, Flair hit her with a chop block and locked in a figure 4 for a quick win when Deville called for the bell despite Naomi not tapping out.

    In-Zayn

Sami Zayn welcomed us to In-Zayn and said this is about defense. He said Knoxville got noticed by testing self defense weapons on himself and that’s what Zayn will do.

Zayn zapped himself with a cattle prod with bad sound effects sent through the PA system. He then turned it to level two.

    That's how it's done, @SamiZayn!#SmackDown @realjknoxville @jackassworld pic.twitter.com/2LfPrvicAd

    — WWE (@WWE) January 22, 2022

He zapped himself in the heart, but it didn’t incapacitate him for more than a few seconds, and Johnny Knoxville came out.

Knoxville called him out about the weapons Zayn had and demanded to see the zapper. Knoxville grabbed it and pointed out someone forgot to turn it on, so he fixed it for him and he zapped Zayn and he dropped.

Knoxville helped him up, then dumped him over the top rope.

Backstage, Adam Pearce talked with Eric Bischoff, and Pearce told Deville it’s got to stop between her and Naomi and he’s recommending Naomi face Deville one on one next week.

    Sheamus w/Ridge Holland vs. Ricochet

    .@WWESheamus looks to overpower @KingRicochet on @SmackDown! pic.twitter.com/oZBT4cqtoC

    — WWE (@WWE) January 22, 2022

Sheamus went right after Ricochet and hit a Irish Curse backbreaker. Ricochet fought back with a jawbreaker, but then ran into another backbreaker.

Sheamus clubbed away on Ricochet, then clotheslined him into the ring from the apron.

Ricochet fought back and sent Sheamus to the floor, but Sheamus caught his suicide dive with a knee.

Back in the ring, Sheamus hit a Brogue Kick to end the match he dominated.

    — WWE (@WWE) January 22, 2022

Backstage, Rick Boogs and Shinsuke Nakamura bumped into Jeff Jarrett, and after fanning over Double J, Boogs introduced himself in his own way and Jarrett asked if he can spell it.

Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens vs. The Usos (Jey and Jimmy)

This should be a good one, and Rollins started it off against Jimmy with the crowd singing Rollins’ entrance song.

After Rollins went for three quick pin attempts, Jimmy headed to the floor to regroup, and then tagged in Jey.

Jey locked in a headlock , but Rollins still rolled him over for a trio of pin attempts before the Usos beat him down in their corner.

Rollins drove Jimmy into his corner and tagged in Owens, and they stomped away on Jimmy. Jey distracted the ref as Rollins headed to the top rope for Jimmy to knock him down and they went to work on Rollins.

Owens tagged in and took over after sending Jey to the floor and hitting a cannonball on Jimmy, but Jimmy got his knees up to counter a senton off the top rope.

Owens rolled to the floor where Jey hit a superkick as we headed to commercial.

The Usos kept working on Owens while Rollins was forced to watch from the ring apron.

Owens hit a step up kick on Jimmy and tagged in Rollins.

Rollins hit a sling blade on Jey, then sent both Usos to the floor and hit a dive on both of them.

Back in the ring, Rollins hit a knee off the top tope on Jey for a near pinfall.

Jimmy blind tagged in and they hit an assisted Samoan Drop for a near pinfall.

Owens blindtagged in and Rollins took out both Usos, and Owens hit a popup powerbomb on Jimmy for a near pinfall.

Jimmy tried a superplex, but Owens reversed it into a Fisherman’s suplex for a pin attempt Jey had to break up.

    Defend #TheBloodline at all costs! @WWERomanReigns @WWEUsos @WWERollins @FightOwensFight #SmackDown pic.twitter.com/jSAbtADcge

    — WWE (@WWE) January 22, 2022

Owens took Jey out with a stunner, then was hit with a superkick by Jimmy. Rollins hit Jimmy with a superkick and a elbow to the back of the head.

Rollins hit a stomp on Jey and Reigns came in to nail Seth with a Superman punch to give the win to Rollins and Owens by disqualification.

Reigns wanting to send a message backfired as Rollins keeps his match and the Usos are banned from ringside at the Rumble.

What’s pretty cool is the fans were chanting Rollins’ theme song throughout the match, effectively making him a face. We just hope the WWE lets him keep his edge this time as an anti hero instead of ruining him again.
