Another episode of AEW Dynamite is on again here this evening, and it’s the go-home show to AEW Double Or Nothing! Before his match with Jungleboy this Saturday, MJF is gonna have what he calls a ‘tune-up match’ against Jungle’s little buddy Marko Stunt! This one might get ugly, folks. You can expect the same kind of live coverage tonight as always, including previews of everything announced in advance! And as usual with Dynamite that accounts for a lot, so let’s get started!
MJF vs. Marko Stunt
Over the past couple of months, we’ve seen Marko Stunt take some truly spectacular beatings, in a way that really only he can. The likes of Lance Archer and Brodie Lee just tore into him and looked like utter beasts doing it. Even Jason Cade on AEW Dark came off looking like quite the brute in there with Marko. It’s just kind of a gift he has, he can make anyone look like a killer. And this past week we also saw that MJF knows what he’s doing in a squash match, as he really brutalized Lee Johnson in their match.
This comes days before MJF is set to take on one of Marko Stunt’s partners in the Jurassic Express trio in Jungleboy at AEW Double Or Nothing 2020. MJF suggested that he needed a quick tune-up match before this happened, since he was coming off a bit of a lay-off, hence him challenging Marko. Obviously he doesn’t see him as anything resembling a threat. He’s going to be the bully to end all bullies tonight, and really take it to poor Marko. It’s one of those matches that make me very sad about this whole empty arena thing, with a crowd of thousands reacting the way they usually do to these guys, it’d really be a treat to witness this.
But even without them, I’m sure the point will come across just fine. It should add plenty of heat to that upcoming match, which even without a crowd, is a pretty vital thing in terms of selling PPVs. Marko will probably get a few hope spots and maybe even embarrass him a couple of times, but largely we’ll be seeing MJF absolutely demolish him in that ring this evening. Should probably go without saying but yeah, MJF over.
