Perhaps the most anticipated match of Fyter Fest is Orange Cassidy vs. Chris Jericho. The two most entertaining men in all of AEW going head to head for the very first time is always going to be a fantastic time. Ahead of this, the king of Sloth Style would go face to face with Le Champion. After being bloodied by Inner Circle with a sack of oranges a few weeks back, Jericho would get attacked last week by Cassidy, who hid as a camera man all night.
Orange Cassidy & Chris Jericho Come Face To Face
Jericho would start by asking why the chicken cross the road, and say that it’s a funny joke at first, but it gets annoying and dumb over time; just like Orange Cassidy. He’s a joke, Jericho hates his act and it pisses him off. Ever since he heard his name, he was embarssed and felt he didn’t deserve to be a professional wrestler. When he signed an AEW contract, he called everyone he could to ask why they signed Orange Cassidy, but the people loved him.
Jericho kinda got it after watching some of his matches, and he gets that he’s different. He’s doing something different and being himself, which is why people love him. He’s relatable, a lazy slacker, like AEW fans. Attacking Le Champion was a mistake, and he better be the best Orange Cassidy he can be at Fyter Fest. He better not pull his jokey offense at Fyter Fest, or he’d eat a Judas Effect within 30 seconds.
He better reach down deep in his pockets and pull out a miracle, and at Fyter Fest he’ll run out of juice.
Cassidy Considers Speaking
It’s rare that OC has something to say, but he grabbed the microphone anyways. Only to put it down and taunt Jericho with his jokey offense, even turning his back on Le Champion before putting his hands in his pockets. No intimdation in his eyes, even, after Jericho broke his sunglasses. Cassidy would take him down, a brawl would ensue, with Cassidy getting the upper hand. Jericho would hit him with a right hand, and it’d resemble a hockey fight.
He’d take everything Jericho had to offer, and keep coming back. Even when hit with a camera crane, he’d fight back once on his feet. Cassidy would slam Jerichos face into a railing, and Blood Orange Cassidy would be pissed. A superman punch through a table, he’d find fresh glasses and stand tall.
