2020 wasn’t the best year for The Inner Circle. Chris Jericho failed to win any of his feuds, be that with Jon Moxley, Orange Cassidy or MJF, with the last one leading to MJF joining the group. However, they’re not going to just give up, and tonight will share just what their plans and resolutions for 2021 are!
Last week, there was a battle between Inner Circle members Wardlow & Jake Hager, a match which Wardlow won with the F-10. So long as Sammy Guevara & MJF can keep getting along, that removes any and all visible tension within The Inner Circle.
Inner Circle Hope To Run AEW Again In 2021
After another great crowd sing-along of Judas, with AEW arena’s being the only place Fozzy will get that kind of reaction, it was time to find out what is on their minds! It was the first time the entire Inner Circle was in a ring together in 2021, which is going to be a huge year for them.
Hager would start by simply calling for championships. MJF just wants to continue to bond with his new Inner Circle brothers, a noble task. He & Sammy Guevara also want to get rid of fat people. Ortiz wants to perfect some of his grandmas recipes.
Chris Jericho wants to win the AEW World Tag Team Championships with MJF, which ruffled a few feathers in the ring. Santana would remind Jericho that he hand picked Ortiz and him to be the tag team in the Inner Circle, and now he wants to chase tag team gold with MJF? We can only assume he was fine with Jericho & Hager chasing gold, as this issue is just now being raised.
A Huge Match Is Set For Next Week!
Guevara would call out Jericho for being a tag team slut, having first teamed with Guevara, then Hager, and now with MJF! This prompted a chant from the crowd, which will stick. Guevara also asked if Jericho is gonna tag with Snoop Dogg next, and it was a strong maybe. MJF would speak up, and things once again got heated between Guevara & MJF. Hager & Jericho brought order back to this by saying that some steam is needing to be worked out.
Next week, for the first time ever, we get a three way match between Inner Circle. The winner would be the official tag team of The Inner Circle. We have Jericho & MJF vs. Santana & Ortiz vs. Hager & Guevara!
