    WWE Raw Results (6/28) – Riddle Eliminated Damian Priest to Win Battle Royal to Fill in for Randy Orton in the Triple Threat Match; 24/7 Championship Changes Hands Numerous Times; Nikki Cross Defeated Shayna Baszler w/Reginald and Nia Jax by Pinfall

    Hello and welcome to WWE Raw Results!

    This looks like it’s going to be an interesting night with plenty of gimmick matches, so let’s get to the action!

    Battle Royal for Randy Orton’s spot

    Adam Peace and Sonya Deville opened the show saying Randy Orton can’t compete, so there’s an over the top battle royal to determine who will take his spot in the triple threat match later tonight.

    Riddle came up to them with a letter from Orton that bequeathed Riddle take his place in the triple threat match. Riddle obviously wrote it.

    Riddle offered to compete on his behalf in the battle royal and the tripe threat match and if he wins Orton will be in the MITB match.

    The match started as chaotic as expected and Shelton Benjamin started the eliminations by sending Drew Gulak over the top rope.

    Benjamin was sent out next by Jinder Mahal, and was followed by Garza, Mansoor were eliminated by Ali.

    Mahal sent R-Truth out, and Tozawa was next, and Gulak rolled him up on the floor to win the 24/7 Championship, and Truth hit Gulak with a forearm for the pin and win.

    Tozawa hit Truth with a senton off the apron for the pin and Tozawa took off with the belt.

    Omos came out and pulled Erik and Ivar over the top ropes from the floor. Omos then sent Erik into the barricade and Ivar into the rind side as we headed to commercial.

    Back for more

    Back from commercial and the action continued in the ring and a few eliminations happened during the break.

    Damian Priest and Mahal exchanged blows in the middle of the ring and Priest took it to him and eliminated Mahal.

    Jeff Hardy dropped Priest, Riddle and Cedric Alexander and hit two Twists of Fate, but Alexander reversed his attempt and eliminated Jeff and told him to go to the retirement home.

    Priest hit a leg sweep and a Hit the Lights on Alexander before he tossed him out, leaving it just Priest and Riddle.

    After Priest hit a series of kicks, Riddle hit a German suplex to buy himself some time, then hit a pain of running forearms before Priest hit a heel kick on Riddle’s third attempt.

    Riddle caught Priest’s charge into a triangle and pulled him to the apron, then hit a knee through the ropes and hit a Final Flash to eliminate Priest to win.

    Promos, promos, and more promos

    Backstage, Nia Jax asked Shayna Baszler if she was ready while she played with cards, and she said it clears her head and she’s going to give Nikki Cross a hard dose of reality.

    AJ Styles and Omos were interviewed and Styles asked how Riddle taking Orton’s place changes his preparation, and Styles went on a mini rant about people that usually don’t show up don’t get a second chance.

    Omos said his actions were him scouting the competition for Styles.

    Nikki Cross said that she’s aspiring to be a hero and she now has the courage to show up and gave a pep talk for everyone to do better and her outfit fits that mindset and her new name is “Almost a Superhero.”

    Nikki Cross vs. Shayna Baszler w/Reginald and Nia Jax

    After a brief exchange of holds and reversals, Baszler hit a shoulder block and then ate a crossbody by Nikki off the ropes.

    Baszler hit a reverse suplex and then pounded Nikki down. She then hit a slam and a suplex for a pin attempt on Nikki.

    Baszler kept the pressure on but Nikki dodged a running knee in the corner and Nikki knocked her out of the ring with a dropkick.

    Alexa Bliss came out and Nikki hit a crossbody on all three from the ring apron.

    WWE Raw Results Returned from commercial, they’re back in the ring and Baszler is back in control btu Nikki fought back before Baszler hit a knee for a near pinfall.

    Nikki hit a tornado DDT to buy some time after Alexa distracted Baszler.

    Alexa and Jax approached each other on the floor and Alexa had her hypnotized but Reginald grabbed her. Alexa kicked Jas in the stomach and Reginald in the family part.

    Nikki used Baszler’s indecision to tie her up for another pin.
