Tonight, love is in the air in the reboot of NXT. Dexter Lumis & Indi Hartwell has been engaged, and tonight will get married on air. Wrestling weddings will rarely go well – but tonight there isn’t much that can go wrong. Johnny Gargano has been won over, Candice LeRae wants what’s best for Hartwell – and Lumis loves Hartwell. However, you can never be sure.
A Genuinely Fun Wedding Between Dexter Lumis & Indi Hartwell
Grizzled Young Vets were expecting a fight, but guests were filing in. Sadly Cora Jade wasn’t allowed her hat… but did sneak Vans into the wedding party of Indi Hartwell. Everyone was ready, and Hartwell would be walked to the ring by Johnny Gargano. Lumis kinda just stared off into space, but that is normal for him. There’s love in those dead eyes.
Everyone took their seats, and they’d start the ceremony. Johnny Gargano would hype himself up before announcing himself as the one to give Hartwell away. LeRae was tired, and Theory had lost the ring. However, they’re in a ring. Ikeman Jiro had it in his blazer, who is now Theory’s guy!
Sharing Their Vows
We’d get the “Speak now or forever hold their peace moment.” and everyone raised their hands. Lumis flashed an axe, and they all put their hands down. Hartwell shared her vows, saying that while some see her as a creep – but she sees him as a caring man who will never take her eyes off her. He watches her every move, and damn right he’s a freak in the best way. She’d start to share a story of him sneaking in – but was cut off.
Lumis never loses a staring contest, keeps Hartwell safe, and they understand each other and will spend the rest of their lives together. His vows were a thumbs up. Hartwell poured her heart out, and the priest got after him… and was choked out in Silence.
A creep chant started, and they called for Regal to run this. Instead it was Beth Phoenix! She got ordained just in case. They wanted to cut to the Chase, and Andre Chase started jabbering… with Odyssey Jones shutting him down. Gargano handed over the rings, they’d say I Do, and Lumis would speak for the first time on NXT to say it!
