It’s no surprise that spoilers for tonight’s WWE Smackdown (May 26) have been leaked since it was taped last week right after that week’s Smackdown.
It’s standard procedure for the WWE to prerecord shows before heading overseas to limit the wear and tear on their talent but also to avoid schedule crunches and possible late or no arrivals.
So because of that, spoilers happen and we wanted to give you a fair warning to turn back now if you don’t want to know what’s going to happen tonight.
This is your last warning. Turn back now.
SPOILERS AHEAD!
Fans in attendance like to share videos or breakdowns of what they see in a pretaped show. It’s fun to “be in the know” and it’s natural that we want to share it with others.
So, with that being said, we’d like to thank wrestlingnews.co for the spoilers we are about to share.
Let’s dig in!
In Smackdown’s Night of Champions Go Home episode from the Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, SC, it looks like the WWE had a solid show set up.
Here are the spoilers:
Austin Theory will defeat Sheamus to retain the WWE United States Championship. Raquel Rodriguez and Shotzi will hold off Damage CTRL (Bayley & IYO SKY).
Cameron Grimes will win against Ashante Thee Adonis, but he’ll be attacked afterwards by Baron Corbin as their feud heats up and Corbin looks for some payback after his five second loss.
Bianca Belair cut a promo in the ring to promote her match against Asuka at Night of Champions, and Asuka came out to attack her. Belair eventually gained the upper hand so things are slightly more balanced heading into the Premium Live Event.
The Street Profits joined the commentary team during LA Knight’s match against Rick Boogs. After Knight won, he called out the Street Profits.
AJ Styles defeated Karrion Kross thanks to Mia Yim preventing Scarlett from getting involved in the match.
The KO Show looks interesting since Owens’ guests are Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa.
Of course, things went sideways as a brawl broke out and Reigns Sikoa, and Jey Uso stood tall to close out the show.
Nothing surprising as it was the typical safe episode heading into a Premium Live Event as the matches here hyped and excuses to set up fights were made such as the KO Show.
It’ll be interesting to see it play out live and if the spoilers missed anything of consequence.
