‘Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ Spoilers tells that, if you have been following the saga of the Real Housewives, you have seen the drama and tension that has been unfolding. Heather Gay from the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, has started opening up more about her friendship with Jen Shah.
She recently told her fans that she always felt as if something was “shady about her” and now it seems that more and more is coming out about Jen.
‘Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’: Gay Admits to Business Dealings
The business dealings of Shah have been questioned for quite some time now. Gay told Andy Cohen that she was pretty suspicious about her. Shah was arrested about six months ago for conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering. Gay told Cohen, “I knew her business was unsavory when I was her friend, so why would I change now that it’s public?”
On the second season premiere of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, we saw Shah getting arrested by federal agents and it came out that she had ripped off hundreds of people in a scheme that took place in six different states for over a decade! Shah told courts that she is not guilty, but the evidence is piling up against her.
Not only was Shah arrested, but her assistant, Stuart Smith was taken in for all of his involvement in her business as well. Gay added, “I didn’t know it was illegal. Jen was on my podcast and I asked her, for like, an hour, questions about her business, because I love business and I know how hard it is to make money in business. It doesn’t just flow. I never understood it, and I just assumed it was something that was right along the line of nothing I’d want to be involved in.”
Gay mentioned that if she had known what Shah was doing, she would have asked her to stop doing it since it was illegal. “I didn’t think you’d go to prison for it. I would’ve said, ‘Babe, don’t do this. Your life is worth more than that.”
On this season of the show, we will see a lot of Shah’s legal woes really coming in on her and it does seem as if the network ratings for the show may go up with all of this happening right before our very eyes. Her trial is to take place in March of 2022.
