I’m a hardcore wrestling fan, by which I mean I’m a hardcore fan of wrestling... but I also have nothing against hardcore wrestling! I’ve been watching since 2006, back when I was 12 years old. In that time I’ve fervently followed WWE, TNA, ROH, Lucha Underground and others. Today I’m most passionate about NXT, New Japan and especially AEW! You could call me a modern wrestling savant but I know my old school stuff as well... I’ll be your huckleberry all night long.

Wednesday means wrestling! Jordan Huie of the Overtimer here gearing up for another episode of AEW Dynamite coming up soon! It’s about an hour away from air time as I type this and I better get going on this preview because they’ve been kind enough to give me a whole lot of advertised segments to talk about, matches and promos alike! Eight, by my count! To go from Raw and SmackDown barely giving me two every week to knowing eight things that will definitely be on Dynamite tonight, it’s pretty crazy honestly. Tonight, we finally see a grudge match that’s…

It’s Wednesday and that means another iteration of the Wednesday Night Wrestling War. There’s excuses to throw around and plenty of reasons one can think of, but ultimately the facts are what they are, and last week, for really the first time, NXT quite handily beat AEW in the ratings. The key demos still skewed in Dynamite’s favor, but the total viewership was an easy victory for NXT. It appears that putting them over so strong at Survivor Series did what it was intended to do, elevate their perception to being more level with that of Raw and SmackDown’s. As…

John Morrison has been a much talked about name since his contract with Impact Wrestling expired early in the summer. He worked his last match with the company at Slammiversary XVII in July and since then has not been seen with a major promotion. Morrison of course first came into the business through the WWE developmental system, and worked under a litany of early ring names for his first few months – which has since spawned into something of a meta-joke as he’s amassed plenty more since leaving WWE – before first coming to fame as Johnny Nitro. It was…

t’s Tuesday and that means it’s time for the other half of our weekly YouTube wrestling goodness… although it looks like this one may be all by it’s lonesome for a little while. Tonight, we talk about AEW Dark! I’m the Overtimer’s Jordan Huie (mixing it up a little bit!) and I shall be giving you the play-by-play for the whole show! Let’s get to it! We start with a recap of the Dynamite Diamond Ring match finish and the presentation from Diamond Dallas Page, where he ended up confronting Wardlow. Tony Schiavone and Dasha Gonzalez introduce us and hype…

Jordan Huie of the Overtimer here to recap another episode of NWA Powerrr. This show has been a lot of fun until the last couple of weeks where it became particularly unfun… tonight seems like it’ll be more of a regular episode in some ways but a very unique one in others. It’s been labeled a “Season Finale”, suggesting it will be the final proper episode of NWA Powerrr atleast until after the Into The Fire PPV which takes place December 14th. Their next tapings are scheduled for the next night on December 15th, but when we’ll actually be seeing…

Brandon Cutler vs. Jimmy Havoc Havoc has been gradually built as a heel in recent weeks. He went wild with cheating on AEW Dark a few weeks prior, to the point of alienating his own partner Joey Janela with his dirty tactics. He followed that up with an appearance in the Dynamite Dozen battle royal, where after he was eliminated, he made for quite the sore loser, coming back in and assaulting everyone within arm’s reach with his signature staple gun. He received a storyline fine for his actions after the fact. Havoc has already got the makings of…

WWE Raw just wrapped up here tonight. I’m Jordan Huie of the Overtimer, finishing up the coverage of tonight’s edition of Monday Night Raw. It’s been a fairly good night, got some good TV matches in and some decent angles. We’re coming off of the main event, which saw Rey Mysterio, Humberto Carrillo and Ricochet take on the OC – AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. This was setup earlier in the night during a segment in which Mysterio, Humberto and Ricochet emerged to make the save for Randy Orton, when all three members of the OC were ganging…
