I’m a hardcore wrestling fan, by which I mean I’m a hardcore fan of wrestling... but I also have nothing against hardcore wrestling! I’ve been watching since 2006, back when I was 12 years old. In that time I’ve fervently followed WWE, TNA, ROH, Lucha Underground and others. Today I’m most passionate about NXT, New Japan and especially AEW! You could call me a modern wrestling savant but I know my old school stuff as well... I’ll be your huckleberry all night long.

WWE Starrcade 2019 has just about reached it’s conclusion at the time of writing, but it’s still ongoing as far as I know. As mentioned previously, in addition to the several announced matches, we’ve seen plenty of unadvertised and impromptu bouts as well. I’ve discussed Andrade’s loss to Aleister Black… and subsequent loss to Ricochet! And that’s not all, as a big name bout between two of Raw’s most proven main event competitors followed… when Randy Orton took on AJ Styles! The two have some history, having faced off at WrestleMania 35 back in April of this year. AJ Styles…

WWE Starrcade 2019 is still ongoing as I type this, even though the WWE Network portion finished up an hour ago. Turns out there was even more to this event that we didn’t see than I realized! In addition to the seven matches that were advertised – and the impromptu matches that began and ended the chunk the show which made air – a handful of unannounced matches have also begun taking place. The first saw Andrade take on Aleister Black in a bout between two up and comers on Raw who are, in theory, primed for big things in…

WWE Starrcade 2019 has wrapped up it’s hour and fifteen minutes on the WWE Network, but the show is still going on as I type this, and in fact had already been underway for some time at the time that it went live. With the post-show dark matches ensuing, let’s rewind a bit to the pre-show dark matches. I already talked about Seth Rollins’ match with Erick Rowan, which ended with a Curb Stomp. But that wasn’t all. We – or atleast the people in attendance – also saw the first title match of the night, one with some peculiar…

WWE Starrcade 2019 has wrapped up it’s hour and fifteen minutes on the WWE Network, but the show is still going on as I type this, and in fact had already been underway for some time at the time that it went live. Among those matches that have already come and gone was former WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins going head to head with Erick Rowan. The two of them had previously squared off in a Last Man Standing match on Raw which was a pretty solid one in my estimation, albeit one with stunningly little build. At WWE Starrcade…

WWE Starrcade 2019 just wrapped up, atleast on the WWE Network. Turns out it wasn’t an hour long show, it was more like an hour and fifteen minutes. But it WAS a show that ended up going without it’s scheduled main event. And even the replacement we got didn’t reach a natural conclusion… but atleast the show ended with the crowd being sent home happy. Even if… they aren’t actually being sent home for another couple of hours… hrm. Regardless. The Last Man Standing match between Bobby Lashley and Rusev ended up being cancelled due to another restraining order supposedly…
