I’m a hardcore wrestling fan, by which I mean I’m a hardcore fan of wrestling... but I also have nothing against hardcore wrestling! I’ve been watching since 2006, back when I was 12 years old. In that time I’ve fervently followed WWE, TNA, ROH, Lucha Underground and others. Today I’m most passionate about NXT, New Japan and especially AEW! You could call me a modern wrestling savant but I know my old school stuff as well... I’ll be your huckleberry all night long.
In what will likely not be topped as Match Of The Night, atleast in terms of pure action but with a pretty damn hot crowd as well, Adam Cole successfully defended the NXT Championship against Pete Dunne at WWE Survivor Series 2019. It was an impeccable match, filled with creative reversals. Each of them came in banged up from their rough nights at TakeOver WarGames, Cole with taped up ribs and Dunne with a taped up knee. They each sold their injuries pretty well yet fought through for a gritty battle. Adam Cole Retains NXT Championship Over Pete Dunne At…
WWE Survivor Series 2019 is still ongoing and we’ve seen an early match of the night contender in that last bout. A thrilling triple threat match pitting the secondary champs – for lack of a better word – of each brand against one another. NXT North American Champion Roderick Strong vs. WWE United States Champion AJ Styles vs. WWE Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura in a non-title Raw vs. SmackDown vs. NXT match. To those in the know, it’s no shock that this was a great one. Roderick Strong, after 19 years in the business, finally made his official main roster…
WWE Survivor Series 2019 is underway now, the first match of the main card just concluded. The 5-on-5-on-5 Women’s Survivor Series match has come and went. Team NXT (Rhea Ripley, Io Shirai, Bianca Belair, Candice LaRae & Toni Storm) vs. Team SmackDown (Sasha Banks, Nikki Cross, Lacey Evans, Dana Brooke & Carmella) vs. Team Raw (Charlotte Flair, Asuka, Kairi Sane, Natalya & Sarah Logan) was a scattered affair to put it mildly. The match saw Io Shirai and Candice LaRae escorted to the back as it seemed they were still banged up from the WarGames match the night before. However…

The WWE Survivor Series 2019 Kickoff Show is deep underway, as we’re about ten minutes away from the start of the main card at the time of writing. The last match of the Kickoff just took place, a truly thrilling contest between three teams that clearly wanted to prove that they belonged on that main show. WWE Raw Tag Team Champions Erik & Ivar – The Viking Raiders – took on the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions Kofi Kingston and Big E – The New Day – and the NXT Tag Team Champions Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly of the…
The WWE Survivor Series 2019 Kickoff is underway, and our first of four title matches has come and went. Lio Rush defended his NXT Cruiserweight Championship in a fast paced, exciting, innovative battle as one would expect. He squared off with Akira Tozawa and Kalisto, two very talented cruisers from Raw and SmackDown respectively. After a relatively short but very impressive encounter, Kalisto hit the Selina del Sol on Tozawa, but before he could get the pin, he was swiftly hit with the Final Hour from Lio Rush for the victory. Thus he once more retains his title and continues…
WWE Survivor Series 2019 is underway, or atleast the Kickoff show is! And we’ve just had our first match of the night, a unique one in a Tag Team Battle Royal. This pit teams from NXT, SmackDown and Raw all against one another. It featured The Street Profits, The OC, Hawkins & Ryder for Raw; The Revival, Heavy Machinery, Lucha House Party, Roode & Ziggler for SmackDown and the Forgotten Sons, Imperium, Breezango for NXT. Yes, for those counting, that’s three teams for Raw and NXT, four teams for SmackDown. This advantage went entirely unexplained and unacknowledged. It would’ve looked…
