Romero wasn’t able to capture instant chemistry with Taylor like was able to with Ricky Reyes, Davey Richards, Alex Koslov, and Trent in the past.
The marquee match of the event saw former eight-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion and one-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion (as Black Tiger), Rocky Romero face the debuting “Filthy” Tom Lawlor.
Taylor displayed an impressive array of Catch Wrestling fundamentals, that were used to keep DKC off balance, however, his younger opponent showed cunning and determination to counter Taylor at several points.
