This is a watershed moment in wrestling.
When the show hits air on October 2nd, it will be the first wrestling show on TNT, and the first new wrestling promotion to debut prime time on a major network since March 26th, 2001. That was of course the date of the final episode of Nitro. By the time it premiers, it will have been exactly 18 years, 6 months and 6 days. That’s 6764 days without a major competitor to WWE on a mainstream television network.
No matter what happens or where things go from here, this night will be an historic one, way or the other. You can bet it’s gonna be an exceptionally hot ticket.
