Jordan Huie of the Overtimer here, still plugging along an hour into tonight’s edition of Monday Night Raw. As the coverage continues, a lot happened just now in that last segment, to the point where I wasn’t totally sure what to even title this article!
I’ll just give you the quick-n-dirty. Seth Rollins came out, interrupting the Viking Raiders and Street Profits’ post-match show of respect, to call out the AOP. Kevin Owens interrupted him, as always skeptical of Rollins’ claims towards Akam and Rezar. He didn’t buy that Rollins didn’t know they weren’t here tonight among other things. Just as they bickered over this, AOP made their arrival to the arena.
Seth made his leave after failing to get through to Owens on this, AOP made threats in a different language on-screen and then, bizarrely, Sami Zayn made his way out with Mojo Rawley by his side! Earlier in the night Owens slapped Mojo silly so Sami was here to help him get some retribution. Sami then announced that he officially had a managerial license, which evidently allows him to appear on both Raw and SmackDown, similar to Paul Heyman.
Mojo Rawley got in Owens’ face, in spite of Sami trying to calm him down. Owens eventually dropped Mojo with a stunner, and Sami made his leave.
So this establishes a few things.
It’s actually Mojo’s first appearance on live TV, certainly speaking role anyway, in quuuuuite a long time. But now that Sami’s an official manager and making use of it to go to both shows, that’s not something you declare for no reason. Just how will this come into play going forward?

So what he’d like to do is have him do the right thing and apologize to Mojo. Boos pour in. Mojo demands Kevin look at Sami when he talks to him, tells him he won’t disrespect him too! Sami suggests he not take that tone with him when he has that look in his eye and a steel pipe in his hands. Mojo claims everybody is tough with a steel pipe in their hands. Owens says “Let’s test out that theory”, tosses him the pipe – STUNNER! Looks eye-to-eye with Sami who swiftly bails. Owens lays into Mojo’s back with the pipe!
