Winner: Ricochet
It’s nice to see him get wins, but it’s kinda hard not to think about how the guy who will be challenging Brock Lesnar for the WWE title this Thursday just barely defeated Luke Gallows. They also implied that he couldn’t lift him and I actually think it would’ve been a good idea to show that, he totally can. I mean Ric is actually a very powerful man, if you’ve seen him elsewhere he can do the roll-through North Lights Suplexes that Matt Jackson also likes to employ, the dude clearly has a ton of core strength. I’m positive he could’ve hoisted Gallows up onto his shoulders and going into a big man/little man match, that would not have been a bad thing to prove.
On a more nitpicky note, it was also kinda hard for him to shine immediately following that Garza/Carrillo match, maybe the placement of this could’ve been a tad better. But that’s one of those hindsight things I suppose.
