WWE Friday Night SmackDown continues, we have a contract signing between Braun Strowman and Shinsuke Nakamura coming up soon. Before that, backstage, Otis Dozovic tells Tucky that there’s something not right about Mandy going with Ziggler. Tucker says sometimes the good guy doesn’t get the girl, advises he let Mandy go. But next week he’ll get Otis out there with people who would never choose Ziggler over him, and that’s the WWE Universe.
Then, Renee Young is in the ring to curate the contact signing. She introduces Shinsuke Nakamura who of course comes out with Cesaro and Sami Zayn. We have highlights of last week’s bizarrely brutal Symphony of Destruction match, including shots of Shinsuke’s stitches, the gash in his head was pretty bad. And now out comes the Intercontinental Champion himself, Braun Strowman. Man that… doesn’t sound right, but it’s what we’ve got. It’s also the first time I’ve actually seen him come out with a title around his waist which is quite a unique visual in it’s own way. Renee says that Shinsuke will be signing first.
But Sami Zayn takes up a mic to interrupt.
Says hold on a second, we’re all trying to conduct business like gentlemen. He tells Braun Strowman to grab a seat. In response, Braun indeed grabs the leather chair and tosses it right out of the ring. Sami says that’s real good. Notes the way Shinsuke has been mistreated lately, the way all of them have been mistreated is a miscarriage of justice. Braun yells at him to shut up, says everyone is sick and tired of hearing him bitch and moan. Notes that he knows no matter what, he’ll have to fight all three of them anyway so let’s get this over with. Braun signs the contract.
Sami pipes up, “Wait, so you’re willing to defend against all three of us?” Braun calls him out for spinning it like that but Sami says no, no spin, Braun wouldn’t go back on his word in front of all these people. Says this can be arranged. Sami basically rewrites the contract on the spot, himself, Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura all sign it one by one. Now, Braun defends his IC title against all three of them in a handicap match! Sami is quite pleased with himself. Braun moves the table out of the way and Sami gets nervous, saying no, nothing will happen tonight. Braun says they won’t make it to the Chamber, attacks Cesaro and Shinsuke!
But they manage to control him in the corner where Sami nails a couple of Helluva Kicks! Kinsasha lays him out! Cesaro and Shinsuke with a double suplex, Sami with a running big boot to the upside-down face of Braun right before they send him through the table! Heels standing tall, boos, but they actually bail pretty quickly when Braun takes very little time getting up!
