CBS The Young and the Restless Spoilers here with some spoilery fun for everyone. Genoa City never takes a day off, and we’re all greatly entertained because of it.
We’re once again focused on Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) as he may do what everyone has accused him of, but will he?
Cue the music.
Billy comforts Amanda
Of course, when we see this in the show description, out first thoughts are to break out the cheesy sexy music our shows always use, but that may be the case.
While Billy is guilty until proven innocent by anybody and everybody in Genoa City, this would please no one more than Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). It’d give him the proof to throw in Billy’s face at every future opportunity until Billy beats the snot out of him. But that’s a ways off is ever, so let’s pretend we never said that, deal?
To be fair, both Billy and Amanda Sinclair (Michael Morgan) have been through a ton of stuff the last few days. While Billy has been cast off and pushed away from everyone (while they claim he’s isolating himself), Amanda’s been stalked and nearly attacked. Worse still, her ex, Ripley Turner (Christian Keyes), was caught returning to Genua City with weapons to kill her. The fact they used the plural form of weapons leads one to think he was going to take his time with her.
Under this kind of pressure, it’d be no surprise that something could happen between them. In fact, it probably will. With the exception of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) being in Amanda’s corner, they only have each other.
This is a great opportunity for the writers to show Billy as being capable as he becomes Amanda’s rock and helps her through her ordeal. How cool would it be for the writers to show someone be successful in their endeavor and stick to everyone trying to force him to conform?
It’d be too much fun, so it probably won’t happen. But it’s nice to dream.
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) is supposed to confess, but since he hasn’t murdered anybody that we know of, this could be a number of things. The most likely scenario, at least for us at CBS The Young and the Restless Spoilers, is that he’ll admit his security measures weren’t as good as they should be and he took things to lightly.
In other words, he’s the world’s worst billionaire.
Seriously, he should just build a huge vault and lounge in his money like a real tycoon. That way he’d always be around it to keep it safe.
But that’s unrealistic, so we’ll probably see him be grateful to all the right people in the next few days as he begins the process of finding out the real reason his money was taken.
Of course, and here’s an interesting idea, what if his money had been taken to protect him and those wishing him harm are still in his company? Talk about a fun plot twist. Though that’s more creative than the writers have been lately. Whatever happened to the days of weather control devices and mad scientists creating robots on their island to take over?
Just throwing some ideas out there. We doubt any of them will ever be used again, but never can tell. No matter what direction things take, CBS The Young and the Restless Spoilers will be here with our speculations, spoilers, and updates as they become ready.
