The second match of Pro Wrestling Revolution’s (also known as Revolucion de la Lucha Libre) October 5, 2019 event was full of wrestlers with the potential to do great things in the wrestling business. The trios match saw El Dinamita/Papo Esco/JR Kratos face Andy Brown/Fidel Bravo/Adrian Quest.
Several notes here: JR Kratos (Border Patrol) made his All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW) debut this year before COVID-19 put a freeze on most of the wrestling world, and should convince other promotions to rethink running events at present. Fidel Bravo has natural show skills that allow him to connect with a crowd once inside the ring, Adrian Quest has the tools to become a standout modern high flying junior heavyweight and Andy Brown could be a breakout star in the future.
The match was slightly a step up from the opener, with a bit more wrestling action added on top to the traditional Lucha Libre appeals to the crowd by Technicos (Faces) and Rudos (Heels). However, as mentioned earlier, there were flashes by several workers throughout the match.
Andy Brown and Fidel Bravo are better than some featured talent in national promotions within the United States, in fact, either could also fit in within Lucha Libre AAA (AAA) or Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). Andy Brown stood out throughout the match as someone who could have a great future if several breaks fall his way.
Brown, Bravo, and Quest grabbed the victory after a nice finishing sequence. This is a match worth seeing, just to get a glimpse at several names that could be the next breakout names on the United States independent circuit.
