”IWTV and Japanese media company Lady’s Ring, have formed a partnership to bring classic footage from the legendary Joshi promotion, All Japan Women’s Pro-Wrestling (AJW) to IWTV.”
Currently, the noted plan is to release five shows per month – which is likely just due to potential need for editing for the streaming service. This also is simply how streaming services tend to deliver classic content, as it gives a reason for fans to stick around.

Running from 1968 to 2005, AJW is one of the longest running female based promotions in the history of professional wrestling. The influence of AJW is still felt today, which speaks to just how innovative this company was.
Having an easy way to access these old shows is an amazing thing for professional wrestling fans and talent alike.
