AEW Dynamite rolls on. We get a promo from Marko Stunt talking about the tall task he has tonight. He says he’s part of a great trio but due to unfortunate circumstances he’s on his own right now. So he’s stepping up to the plate to try and prove himself to everyone who thinks he doesn’t belong. He’ll take on anyone no matter the size difference. He now faces off with The Exalted One of the Dark Order, Brodie Lee!
Marko Stunt vs. Brodie Lee
Marko charges at the bell and Brodie repeatedly throws him away with ease. Marko tries a slip, Brodie takes him to the corner and chops him viciously! Rake of the eyes in the opposite corner, and another solid chop! Brodie takes him down, grinds a boot into his face and actually steps on his head! A gigantic biel throw sends him all the damn way across the ring and into the corner! Brodie just stares. Leaves the ring and stalks over slowly to Marko on the apron… but no, Stunt springs up and hits the ropes to try a suicide dive but Brodie catches him out of the air! He stands him up and superkicks the daylights out of him!
Lee rolls into the ring and poses, wanting a 10 count. Marko barely pulls himself up at 9 and slides back into the ring! Brodie whips him, wants a suplex, HURLS him witha German Suplex but Marko somehow lands on his feet in spite of how quickly he was flung! Marko leaps off the second rope but gets DESTROYED with a Black Hole Slam! Hoists him up and plants him with a devastating Sit-Out Powerbomb! That’s that!

Man it’s just, so easy to make this work and to make it into somethign spectacular.
We see a video of Jon Moxley out in the desert. Says it’s amazing. Just eight weeks ago he was celebrating winning the world championship in a sea of fans. Seems like a lifetime ago. What the hell happened? Now instead of screaming our lungs out at an AEW show we’re all watching at home and they’re thankful for that. Mox says he’ll be back bleeding and sweating in a sea of fans eventually but until then he’s got a lot of things he’s thankful for. He’s thankful for his wife as it takes a hell of a woman to be locked inside with him. Thankful for steel chairs as a DDT onto a steel chair is always better than a DDT NOT on a steel chair. Says he’ll continue being the World Champion regardless of what it takes, thumbtacks in the eye and all. Kindly asks us all to be a good neighbor, support local business by ordering take-out and angrily demands we call our grandmothers.
