AEW Dynamite continues. Kip Sabian comes out with Penelope Ford to take on Chuck Taylor, who happens to have Orange Cassidy by himself.
Chuck Taylor vs. Kip Sabian
Chuck with a little walk on his knees to start us off. Wristlock cinched in, Sabian rolls his way out of it and reverses. Chuck rolls through as well for a side headlock take over, headscissor from Sabian, Chuck kips his way out of the hold. Headlock back in, Kip shoots him off, Chuck with the shoulder block. Sabian with a leapfrog, but Chuck surprises him with a single leg takedown into a Single Leg Boston Crab! Kip crawls his way to the ropes and makes the break, escapes to the floor. Taylor chases Sabian across the floor and around Cassidy, Sabian lures him into the ring and stomps him as he comes in. Sabian whips him into the corner, Chuckie with a high knee on the charge. Turns to the camera and gives a little thumbs up.
Chuck with the knife edge chop in the corner, charges but Sabian takes him to the apron, wants a Springboard Dropkick but Chuck ducks and he sees it coming, so Sabian instead goes down to the mat and dropkicks him to the floor! Charges for a tope but Chuck side-steps, Sabian lands on his feet but a suplex takes him right onto the apron! Taylor smiles and waves at nobody. Rolls him into the ring, cover for a 2 count. Second rope moonsault, Sabian rolls out of the way! Missile dropkick for a nearfall! Charging uppercut in the corner, snapmare for a basement dropkick, nearfall! Tosses Chuck to the outside and distracts the ref as Ford gets Taylor with some kicks. Sabian pulls Taylor to the middle of the ring and covers for a 2 count.
Drives a knee into his back, arm stretch. Chuck fights his way to his feet, escapes the hold and lays in some forearms, Kip with a knee to the gut, takes him to the top rope, pursues, wants a Half-N-Half Superplex but Taylor elbows him to the mat! Moonsault, lands on his feet as Sabian avoids him but Taylor with the Falcon Arrow! Sadly he can’t get the cover, otherwise he’d have done the deal. They stand at the same time, Chuck with some kicks, knife edge chop, suplex but Sabian escapes behind him, hits the ropes but Chuckie T with a Pop-Up Sit-Out Powerbomb for a close nearfall! Chuck goes up top, wants the Diving Foot Stomp, Sabian rolls out of the way, Pop-Up Kneelift! Hangs him up on the top rope for a Hangman’s Neckbreaker for a nearfall!
Getting angry and pounding him across the back of the head. Sabian charges, hot shot, leaps off the top for his Tornado DDT but Chuckie T counters with the Eat Dafeet! Penelope Ford up on the apron, takes off her jacket to distract Chuckie. Sabian takes control and gives Ford a kiss. Orange Cassidy up on the apron now, takes off his denim jacket and poses seductively in kind! Sabian is indeed distracted and Chuckie clobbers him from behind. Jimmy Havoc isn’t happy with this, pulls Cassidy off the apron and nails him with a Fisherman’s Buster on the floor! On the other side of the ring, Ford with a Flying Rana to Chuck Taylor! Sabian rolls Taylor up and gets the victory!
Winner: Kip Sabian
Fun stuff, Sabian with some momentum heading into his match with Dustin Rhodes. Ortiz, shockingly, picks Jake Hager! As does Sammy Guevara, turns out.
