WWE Monday Night Raw rolls on. Lashley just told Lana to stay in the back because her beauty was too distracting and now he’s up against Denzel Dejournette, who is apparently the resident jobber around here nowadays.
Bobby Lashley vs. Denzel Dejournette
Lashley wrestles Denzel to the mat, pulls him up with a double arm suplex. Denzel with a leap frog, slaps Bobby across the face! Bobby is not happy. Denzel avoids a clothesline, does a drop down but then Lashley clobbers him across the back. After pounding on him for a bit, Lashley runs through with a Spear and that is that.
Winner: Bobby Lashley
Quick and easy.
We then move on to Liv Morgan who once again faces off with her archrival Ruby Riott.
Liv Morgan vs. Ruby Riott
Ruby takes over quickly, pounds her into the corner. Off a charge, Liv hits a drop toe hold that sends Riott into the middle turnbuckle. Double footstomp avoided, Ruby slams her into the buckle, but Liv hoists her up and slams her facefirst. Big right hand to the face from Liv, power whip to the opposite corner! Charges with a flying body block, roll into a charging clothesline but Ruby ducks it, surprises her with the Riott Kick but Morgan kicks out at 2! Ruby still working over Liv but she reverses an Irish Whip and once again hits a gorgeous Springing Reverse STO which now finally has a name – Oblivion! Awesome. It’s the win of course.
Winner: Liv Morgan
Well this feud is officially over, Liv kicking out of Ruby’s finish and beating her with her own finish for the second straight week. It’s really great to see how much Liv has progressed, she looked great in this match. Afterwards, Byron interviewed her and asked if she’s a new Liv Morgan. Liv seems a little overwhelmed and says she’s like a lot of people at her age, still trying to figure out who she is. But she is confident. And that’s pretty much all that promo was.
I don’t really know where she goes from here, I’m not sure if they’ll have her challenge Becky Lynch anytime soon. But she wouldn’t be a bad choice to win the Money In The Bank match at all, though that’s very much an accolade that leans towards heels due to the nature of it.
