Scorpio Sky talks about how Frankie Kazarian and Christopher Daniels had been looking for a third guy for a while and he was way into the idea. But it was also intimidating because they had been teaming for years already and were such established, respected performers and he didn’t want to be just the third wheel. Says SCU didn’t really hit until the Worst Town bits on BTE. Now in AEW he’s on a roll, we see highlights of his match with Chris Jericho. Scorpio says he doesn’t want to just be a star he wants to be a f**king legend. Then, we have another MJF injury update.
MJF says that without him, we’re probably feeling like we’re in an Uber with a foreign driver who for some reason doesn’t want to use the GPS. Says he went to the doctor and got the miracle news, after being on death’s door last week, he made an incredible recovery and according to his doctor he now has the strongest nail in the world. He was so eager to get back onto Dynamite and trying to get TV ready when the unthinkable happened. He was shaving and… he nicked his neck. He pulls off his scarf to reveal a neckbrace. Absolutely incredible. Says it was very graphic and most men would’ve just bled out and died. But MJF says it’s a tragedy because he really wanted to hop onto a germ infested plane in these times and wrestle in front of maybe six or seven of his peers. All the same he’ll be back because he’s better than us and he knows it. That’s all for the MJF injury update.
This leads into another Wardlow squash as he faces off against someone named Musa.
Wardlow vs. Musa
Wardlow with a pop-up, smiles and poses. Drives Musa into the corner with a devastating shoulder thrust. Hip toss sends him flying. Wardlow pulls Musa up onto his shoulders from the knees, Musa escapes the powerslam and slaps him right across the face, pretty hard too! Wardlow with a knee to the gut, off a whip Musa with a Handspring Enziguri but Wardlow doesn’t quite go down! Drives him into the corner again, takes him up top. Hand to the throat, drops him from the top rope into the big knee lift to the chest! Pulls him up by the jaw, takes him onto his shoulders, and there’s the F-10! Needless to say, that’s all she wrote.
Winner: Wardlow
Wardlow is quite the threat, it’s a fun thing to see. It’s funny to think AEW ended up becoming hoss country in the past few months but it ain’t a bad thing at all.
