Things have not quite gone as planned for Seth Rollins. His subjects have been falling like flies, with Rezar of Authors Of Pain getting injured, Akam vanishing, and even his tag team partner Murphy not being in his corner. At Wrestlemania 36 he lost to Kevin Owens twice, once through a DQ after Rollins hit him with the ring bell, and again when Owens jumped off the Wrestlemania sign to put him through a table, and then nailed a stunner. This was after he claimed he becomes a god under pressure. With the ego of Seth Rollins injured, what is next for the self proclaimed Monday Night Messiah?
A More Vicious Seth Rollins
On the RAW after Wrestlemania, we would see Seth Rollins go up against Denzel Dejournette of NXT. This was a complete squash match, with Rollins being laser focused on brutalizing the rookie. He would quickly beat down his opponent and hit a brutal curb stomp for a win in just over a minute. While Dejournette is hardly a challenge for someone as experienced as Rollins, but this was about sending a message. This was as vicious as we have ever seen Seth Rollins. He is backed into a corner of his career, and is on his own again.
Drew McIntyre Needs To Watch Out
With Drew McIntyre being the new WWE Champion, he has a target on his back that is perfect for someone like Seth Rollins to target. If Rollins is as vicious as he was against Dejournette in the future, he will be a top contender for McIntyre by the time Money In The Bank comes around. They would have a fantastic match, with Rollins being a firm top heel and McIntyre being the best babyface in all of WWE right now. Powerhouses match up best against more agile opponents, and they already proved their chemistry in tag team matches back in 2018.
Two Time Mr. Money In The Bank
One of the best cash in’s with the Money In the Bank briefcase came from Seth Rollins, when he placed himself in the main event of Wrestlemania in what was called the Heist Of The Century. Having proven he knows how to use the briefcase perfectly, and with his recent inflated ego, should Rollins find his way into the ladder match, he would be a nightmare for the entire roster.
