WWE Money In The Bank 2020 rolls on. Seth Rollins backstage continues to promise to unburden Drew McIntyre of the WWE Championship. But that’s not the world title match that’s up right now, we’ve got Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman up next instead. It’s quite early to be getting into a world title match but then again we’re likely gonna have a very curiously timed out show this evening. Out comes Bray first of course and as stated, he’s in his sweater tonight. Bray literally cheers on Braun during his entrance.
WWE Universal Championship: Braun Strowman (c) vs. Bray Wyatt
Bell rings and Bray slowly walks over to Braun, looks like he might want a hug but Braun shoves him to the corner. Bray’s laughing about it, lock-up, Braun takes him to the corner and nails him with a right hand. Whip to the ropes, there’s the shoulder block. Bray is marveling about how strong Strowman is. Spiders his way to his feet. Bray with a kick to the gut, side headlock cinched in but Braun shoots him off and another shoulder block drops him. Bray bails from the ring. Strowman pursues, punches him in the face and slams him headfirst into the steel steps. Posts him and Bray goes flying, violent one there! Braun sends him into the ring, big corner clothesline and Braun is roaring as Bray stumbles to the floor. Braun leaves the ring and charges around the ring, Bray sidesteps him and sends him right over the announce table!
Bray is waiting for a countout. But then Huskus randomly appears in the crowd and cheers Bray on, and this seems to drive him to go out there and nail him a DDT onto the floor! Takes him into the ring and clotheslines him for a 2 count, then nails a senton. Pretty sure he’s being Husky Harris right now. He comes out and clobbers him with a body shot, then sends Braun right into the steps. Bray starts tearing up and says “Look what you made me do!” Sends Braun into the ring, Bray hanging upside down against the ropes. Goes over to him but Braun attacks first, sends him into the corner, Bray with a Tornado DDT?! Sister Abigail follows, narrow nearfall!
Bray looks utterly stunned that this failed, yelling “WHAT?!”. Sets him up for another and does the kiss this time, but Strowman reverses and chokeslams him to the mat! Strowman takes him into the corner, charging clotheslines, tosses him to the outside! Braun rolls out there, charges around the ring and POUNCES him into the barrier! Bray fights back and rolls into the ring… Braun slowly stands and now he has the black sheep mask on! Bray is in tears, on his knees as he’s delighted to see this. Asks if he understands what this means. Says he promises him this time everything will be perfect. Braun gets on his knees in front of Bray and poses. Bray stands and poses as well. Keeps saying “I told him, I told him”. They stand and hug. The puppets are cheering. But then of course Braun shoves him away and raises the mask off his face. Bray tells him to trust him but Braun stomps on the mask. Bray’s pleading with him but Braun hoists him up for a Powerslam and that’s that.
Winner: Braun Strowman
Fun little story there I suppose, and it was actually a surprisingly well worked match. Mind you I do consider both of these guys to be really good big men but I didn’t actually think they’d match up well together, but I was pretty into this match. Afterwards, Bray glares at Braun and we see flashes of the Fiend…
The Hacker has another video. Says everyone wants to know who he is. He says he is everyone and sees everything. He is the truth and no one is safe. We see him sitting in front of a ton of video screens all showing various wrestlers.
