WWE Monday Night Raw is on again tonight. No previews this week but you’ll still see the same live coverage as always. Below you will see the results from the show as they come plus links to in-depth recaps! Watch this space.
Segment 1: Randy Orton opens the show to talk about the challenge that closed the show last week. Says this is World Wrestling Entertainment, and that’s what they do. He believes deep in his heart that he’s a better wrestler than Edge and he wants to prove that. Edge comes out and berates him for how little he truly loves wrestling in the first place before accepting his challenge.
Segment 2: Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy come out to talk about the assault on Rey Mysterio’s eye last week. Seth says what happened to Mysterio was unfortunate but necessary. Humberto Carrillo arrived to defend Rey’s honor and Rollins decided to put him up against his disciple Buddy Murphy.
Segment 3: Buddy Murphy took on and defeated Humberto Carrillo after a distraction from Seth Rollins in a rather short match. Buddy attacked Carrillo afterwards until Aleister Black ran him off. King Corbin complains about his backstage accommodations and hatches a plan.
Segment 4: Liv Morgan has an emotional promo about her mother and how she won’t give up fighting Charlotte Flair. Charlotte then came out for another self-aggrandizing promo and defeated Ruby Riott.
Segment 5: MVP suggests Bobby Lashley think about his future and what he really wants to be. The Street Profits are concerned about the Viking Raiders’ axe throwing skills. Kairi Sane and Asuka celebrate the latter’s Raw Women’s title victory. Nia Jax emerges to challenge Asuka and gets sent packing from the ring.
Segment 6: Bobby Lashley defeated R-Truth again. Lana threw a tantrum over his victory.
Segment 7: Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross defended their Women’s Tag Team Championships against the IIconics. The match ended in DQ after Peyton Royce posted Alexa Bliss three straight times. Nia Jax attacked Kairi Sane backstage, was later attacked back by Asuka.
Segment 8: Shayna Baszler defeated Natalya in a Submission match. Afterwards Natalya was upset, tore apart the Kevin Owens Show set as it was being set up.
Segment 9: The Kevin Owens show hosts Andrade, Austin Theory and Angel Garza. It’s a trick though as he also reintroduces Apollo Crews who attacks Andrade.
Segment 10: In an impromptu tag team match, Kevin Owens and Apollo Crews defeated Andrade and Angel Garza after a botched run-in from Austin Theory. Zelina’s boys then jumped Austin and left him laying.
Segment 11: Aleister Black took on Buddy Murphy. During the match, Seth Rollins picked Austin Theory off the ground and sicced him on Black for the DQ.
Segment 12: Apollo Crews lays down a challenge for Andrade’s US Championship next week. Viking Raiders win the Axe Throwing Competition and then the police get involved.
Segment 13: In the main event, Drew McIntyre defeated King Corbin as Bobby Lashley and MVP watched on, with Lashley vowing to go after McIntyre’s WWE Championship.
