Segment 1: Chris Jericho on commentary for this show. In the opening bout, FTR – Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler – make their long-awaited AEW in-ring debut as they face off with the Butcher and the Blade in a gritty, oldschool match to be sure! It was as physical as expected, in the end FTR got the win with a Spike Piledriver. Afterwards the Young Bucks came out to thank them and introduce themselves. But before the conversation could advance, an attack from the Butcher, Jimmy Havoc and Kip Sabian led to Kenny Omega and Hangman Page running the heels off. A three-way staredown concluded the segment.
Segment 2: A tag match pit Nyla Rose and Penelope Ford against Hikaru Shida and Kris Statlander. In a big upset, Ford pinned the champ herself, getting Hikaru Shida with a Fisherwoman’s Suplex after a title belt shot.
Segment 3: We see videos from Darby Allin and Britt Baker. Darby visited Tony Hawk in his time off and did a skate trick off a ladder. In a trios match, all three of the Best Friends took on Jake Hager and Proud-N-Powerful of the Inner Circle. Cassidy got a flash pin victory, but the Inner Circle attacked afterwards. Jericho took a bat to Cassidy, busting him open and then further bashed him with a sack of oranges in a surprisingly brutal beatdown!
Segment 4: MJF gets in a confrontation with Billy Gunn in the crowd. Sammy Guevara takes on Colt Cabana. Guevara gets the win and afterwards the Dark Order offer Colt a mask. Matt Hardy also tries to talk Sammy Guevara into breaking away from Chris Jericho but he balks at it.
Segment 5: Sonny Kiss picks up a lost Joey Janela. Colt Cabana knocks on the door of Mr. Brodie Lee. Jon Moxley is interviewed in the parking lot when Taz gets his attention, setting up an ambush from Brian Cage! After a short brawl, Cage sends Mox into the rear windshield of a car!
Segment 6: Cody successfully defended the TNT Championship against Marq Quen, focusing on the injured ankle for the duration before submitting him with a heel hook! Afterwards Jake Hager put hands on Arn Anderson and attacked Cody, Matt and Private Party had to help fight off the Inner Circle but Cody agreed to give Hager a title match at Fyter Fest!
