In a pretty cool comic relief storyline, Johnny Swinger tried to figure out a way to be at ringside with Chris Bey at Slammiversary. The angle started with Bey giving Swinger grief for running his mouth and getting himself banned from ringside.
Swinger promised he had an idea that would work, and he set out to figure out what would work.
His efforts took him to an empty locker room area and a couple of chairs with costumes draped on them. The choices were Super Eric’s costume and Suicide’s. He decided taking Suicide’s was better and safer since “everyone likes Suicide.”
Oh, he had no idea how much.
Afterwards, he ran into Willie Mack in the hallway, and Mack reminded him that he’d promised Suicide a X-Division Championship match after the way that “old creepy dude” had treated him the previous week.

X-Division Championship – Willie Mack (c) vs Suicide (Johnny Swinger)
Swinger-Cide put up a… interesting effort with a healthy dose of comic relief like getting caught in the ropes while trying Suicide’s Spider-Man’s routine. An amused Willie Mack didn’t look like he knew what to make of things, but Swinger-Cide kept trying to fight back by while not using Johnny Swinger’s usual moves like the swinging neckbreaker.
We gotta give Swinger credit as he tried to use Suicide’s abdominal stretch, but he didn’t have a clue what he was doing and Mack slipped out. Then he tried to climb to the top rope, slipped, and hit his face of the top turnbuckle. Swinger-Cide stumbled and turned around for Mack to hit him with his stunner for the win.
Madison Rayne’s Locker Room Talk featuring the most iconic Knockout in history — herself
Madison Rayne went to great pains to interview herself, and it was pretty entertaining. She did announce that was is entering the Knockout’s Number One Contender Gauntlet Match at Slammiversary.
As cool as it’s going to be to see her in action again, the announcement came seconds before Sasha Steelz and Kiera Hogan interrupted and made fun of her for not having any friends. Of course, Havok and Navaeh then arrived and a brawl ensured.
Looks like the Knockouts match is going to be one of the best ever.
Dreamer’s challenge
Tommy Dreamer read a mockumental apology to Moose during an interview, and when Moose approached him, Dreamer claimed he spoke to the TNA Championship committee and others and he’d be challenging Moose for the TNA Championship at Slammiversary.
What made this entertaining is that Dreamer tricked Moose into saying the TNA championship isn’t real because there is no committee.
Dreamer told him he’s right, because “There is no TNA.”
Things are going to get interesting.
