Ring Of Honor haven’t done much since COVID-19 shut down all their shows, but that hasn’t stopped them from making moves during this lull. Their roster is far from the strongest it has ever been, but the bones of something solid is there. Now add in three rumored signings, and they very well could come back as strong as ever.
Sign Danhausen!
The one storyline ROH have been running with online during this pandemic is that of them not signing Danhausen. He’s tried everything, from being on ROH shows, to having Gilbert Godfrey cut a promo telling ROH to sign him. It would be in poor taste to do all this, and not have him signed, when they would be actively sharing this content when able. Danhausen is one of the better Twitter personalities, and his comedy antics in the ring would make him a treat at live shows. Even in an often serious company like ROH, there is room for comedy, adding much needed variery in a card.
Alex Zayne Has Gained Insane Hype
Game Changer Wrestling is one of the most talked about promotions these days, known for their wild shows like the recent Backyard Wrestling show, and the Joey Janela produced Spring Break Shows. On these shows, there is one thing that is constant: Alex Zayne will drop jaws with his insane high flying. While he needs to have some of his rough edges smoothed out in the ring, a man who can hit 630 Sentons over the top rope and flip over cars? That’s a man worth investing into. He has a previous victory in ROH, beating Bandido before COVID-19 shut their shows down.
Tony Deppen Is Built For Ring Of Honor
Tony Deppen is one of the best technical wrestlers around, and ROH knows this. He was set to be in the tournament to crown a new Pure Champion, before that was scrapped. ROH has had some of the best wrestlers of their generation in their locker room, and Tony Deppen could build his legacy as this generations Bryan Danielson if given the chance. Much like Alex Zayne, he’s a common fixture of Game Changer Wrestling shows, and boosts every card he is on.
These are three unique talents that would be a huge boon for the Ring Of Honor product, and are very likely to be signed as soon as possible to deals. Do you think these talents will help ROH out in the long run? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
