Its been a couple of months now that Cody and FTR have been hinting at a new stable resembling a new Four Horsemen by flashing the four fingers on one hand and two fingers on the other hand – an old hand sign the Four Horsemen originally used. With the three of them as the obvious members of the rumoured future faction. Now we seem to start to see some hints of who could be the fourth member.
The first three members could be obvious.
Although we haven’t actually seen Cody and FTR on TV yet. We have seen a couple of hints at them becoming in a future faction. With Cody flashing the four fingers of the Four Horsemen. While FTR flashing two and one. FTR is often compared to Tully Blanchard, (Shawn Spears’ manager) and Arn Anderson (Cody’s managers.) Now though, there has been a bit more connections through Twitter. On Cody and Dax share the same birthday, Dax on Twitter shared a picture of Cody flashing the four fingers and him doing the same with ‘happy birthday’. Even though this could have been just a joke. Cody’s past comments about him wondering if he’s even in the Elite anymore, this does hint at something new in the future. AEW can tell some long and great stories and it looks like its going to be a while before anything is set in stone.
There are so many possibilities of who could be the fourth member!
Now though, it looks like there could be some hints at the potential fourth member of the faction. We have three possible members plus an honourable mention. The first being MJF, although he has feuded with Cody and we will most likely get a rematch in the future. It can’t be denied that the things he does resemble one of the members of the original Four Horsemen; Rick Flair. Even though this could be way off, he is the only member of the roster with a similar character profile to fit the role of Flair in the Four Horsemen of the future.
Then there’s Shawn Spears who, in the past, has had a massive feud with Cody. The only reason for this is because his manager is Tully Blanchard. The last one before the honourable mention though is Hangman Adam Paige. He has been teasing his heel turned for a while and now after Fyter Fest with him seeming very friendly with FTR. It could hint at him joining them in the future. The honourable mention though is the complete opposite; Kenny Omega. Even though currently, he doesn’t seem to like FTR. It seems like he’s going into another character change. So maybe we could see him join in the future. Although is it more likely that we would see Kenny back in single competition soon. It also should be mentioned that the fourth member of the original Horsemen did change a lot through their reign, so we could see multiple members we’ve mention here today.
