Over the last few weeks, WWE Raw has seen one of their two heel tag teams carve out their niche after ambushing the Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) and then beating the Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar). But Andrade and Angel Garza have shown there are far more problems between them and this week probably won’t be any different.
Trouble in paradise
Zelina Vega has had her hands full for weeks now as Andrade and Garza started off vying for her favor, and now are in open competition with each other. They hit a milestone last week in their six man tag team match.
It didn’t take them long to start arguing with each other, but Randy Orton stepped in and outright threatened Angel Garza. The result was the troubled duo functioned as a team the rest of the night.
But Vega isn’t Orton. At least, not with the same problem managing skills.
When Vega threatens someone we take notice; when Orton threatens someone we say our prayers.

With that being said, this is going to be an interesting match because while it still relies heavily on teamwork, each member can be eliminated.
The Viking Raiders are a team in every sense of the word, but they’re not as cutthroat individually as Andrade and Garza. While Garza and Andrade are fiercely independent, they will also turn on each other in a heartbeat, and this match will expose them.
At one point in tonight’s match, they’ll turn one each other. Most likely, we expected it to happen when one of them is eliminated as it would show they aren’t as good as the other, and they’d work to eliminated their partner.
Another possibility is Andrade and Garza survive, meaning neither of them are eliminated and they defeat the Viking Raiders. It’d be a bandage on their relationship until the next opportunity to tear them apart.
The WWE has a habit of drawing their storylines out too long over the last year, with Seth Rollins and Kevin Owen’s recent feud a perfect result, and this could be another one. It’s obvious Andrade and Garza aren’t going to coexist together, and drawing it out beyond Extreme Rules feels like it’ll be too long.
So, we think and hope they pull any bandages off tonight and they begin the next phase of their storyline as foes with Vega stuck in the middle. It has the potential to be one of WWE Raw’s better storylines.
