Few teams had a turnaround like Andrade and Angel Garza over the last few weeks of WWE Raw.
While Zelina Vega takes credit for it, we all know it’s mainly due to Orton’s influence and her knowledge of knowing what buttons to push with the pair.
And with their shot at the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship at SummerSlam set up, we’re going to see the buildup between them and the Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford).
While Garza and Andrade threw the first punch (literally) last week, we expect Dawkins and Ford to be looking for payback in one form or another.
We doubt it’ll be a tag team match since that’d run the risk of ruining what they intend at SummerSlam, but a multiple tag team event, or even a singles match could be in store.
The trick is which Street Profit to start off with?
Charismatic pair
Angelo Dawkins has all the talent in the world, and he’s a good match for Andrade, but there’s something about that pairing that’s good but not great.
As great as Dawkins is, Ford seems to have more energy, and when that’s combined with Garza’s the end results could be some of the best we’ve seen in a long time.
With that being said, it makes sense that Ford and Garza would match up in a singles match, and they’d potentially bring the house down.
As could Dawkins and Andrade.
But is this needed?
We don’t think so. In fact, we don’t like the idea of splitting the teams up, especially since Andrade and Garza recently learned how to work together.
Backstage it is
Because splitting the teams up doesn’t make sense to us (which means the WWE will probably do it), we expect them to have a backstage brawl.
This would follow a standoff on the microphone when one interrupts the other.
It could also be something as silly and dumb as the Street Profits playing tricks on Garza and Andrade, similar to the pranks the Usos played on the Revival last year.
Another possibility is that Angel Garza ad Andrade are in a tag team match to fine tune their skills; like in a warmup or something.
It could even be against Ricochet and Cedric Alexander as their high flying skills would help prepare Andrade and Garza for the Street Profits.
Vega could then be on commentary citing all the reasons her team is the best and will win.
There are plenty of options, so it’ll be interesting to see what happens.
