Thank you for joining WWE Raw Results and Recap tonight as we’re expecting this to be a fun show.
There’re few things better than the aftermath of a pay-per-view, and there’s plenty coming our way tonight.
We started the night off with another cool pyrotechnics display that harkened back to the Attitude Era, and we’re kinds surprised it didn’t start with a recap of Payback.
Kudos to the WWE for the change of pace.
Randy Orton got things started by coming out to the ring.
While he did, they announced a series of matches to determine the WWE Championship number one contender at Clash of Champions on September 27.
Orton started off by saying that last week Drew McIntyre offered him a rematch out of pity, and that Orton took it as a sign of respect, so he punt kicked him three times.
He continued that McIntyre feels he deserves the WWE Championship, and Orton said he thinks he deserves is the fractured jaw and to be in pain every day and drink his meals through a straw.
He added that McIntyre promised that he’d kick Orton’s head from his shoulders at SummerSlam, but the only one doing the kicking in himself and he listed the legends he punted.
He countered McIntyre’s claims that he’s entitled with some tech problems with the microphone, but said he shouldn’t have to face Kevin Owens or anyone else for a rematch, but he’ll jump through the hoops.
He did mention McIntyre might not be healthy enough to make it to Clash of Champions. He added that McIntyre instead got together with some buddies to talk about Orton kicking each of them.

Lee’s argument
As Orton laughed, Keith Lee’s music played and he came out to the announcer’s propping him up.
Orton backed off to allow Lee to enter the ring and kept his distance as they circled.
Lee pointed out how Orton has done well for himself, and that he’s fixated on talking about the havoc and damage he’s caused over the last few months while trying to forget about his loss at Payback.
Lee point blank pointed out he beat Orton.
Lee added that he gave Orton no choice but to bask in his glory, and called him out for saying the championship opportunities should be handed to him.
Lee then said that maybe his victory over Orton means he should get the opportunity at the WWE Championship.
Lee added that he’s certain McIntyre will make good on collecting his receipt from Orton.
Just then, Dolph Ziggler attacked Lee from the side. Lee tossed him aside, but when he turned to face Orton, Ziggler hit Lee with a DDT as WWE Raw Results and Recap headed to commercial.
