WWE 205 Live Results: Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch vs. Ever-RiseEver-Rise are slowly becoming one of the best tag teams in the undercard of NXT, but not for their win-loss record. They’re always going to give their all, and entertain fans along the way. Tonight though, they’ll need to do better than their best, as Oney Lorcan & his best friend Danny Burch want to kick their asses. Why? Because they took offense to Ever-Rise claiming to be the best tag team in 205 Live.

Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch Came To Win

Lorcan would start this match with Matt Martel, who’d find himself in an armlock very quickly. Burch would be tagged in, and grab the other arm and both men would chop Martel. Martel would slip free and hit a drop toehold, before grabbing an armbar of his own.

Chase Parker would tag in, but Burch would take control of his opponent quickly with a headlock takedown. This slow methodical pace suits Lorcan & Burch, who can both punch you in the face and put on a wrestling clinic in the same match. Parker would escape the headlock, but when he’d dive at Burch, the ankle would be picked in midair, sending him hard to the mat.

A second rope front dropkick would nail Parker, who’d flee outside. What would follow is Burch chasing after, missing Parker tagging in Martel, who would hit from behind. A beautiful display of teamwork befitting the best team in 205 Live.

Martel would stomp Burch and hit some big elbow drops, before grabbing the arm. He’d drag Burch to his corner, and tag in Chase Parker for some duo offense. Burch would be tripped with a drop toehold by Martel, and Parker would leap off his back with a big elbow drop to the back, an Ever-Rise special. This would get a two count, and leave Burch reaching for a tag.

    Ever-Rise Screw Themselves

Parker would do everything he could to prevent the tag, but you can’t deny The Governor forever. He’d stop a double team maneuver by Ever-Rise, and rush to tag in Oney Lorcan, who was ready to kick some ass. Lorcan would explode across the ring to hit Martel with a running uppercut, taking Parker off the apron with an elbow, and drop Martel again.

Parker would save Martel from the elevated DDT, and despite being dropped with a forearm, he’d save Martel again from the Doomsday Device! Burch would be pulled to the outside, and Martel would take the fight to Lorcan, who would just throw himself at Martel. A running Blockbuster would prompt Parker to save the match again, showing his value as a tag team partner.

Parker would be tagged in, and a Samoa Drop/Diving Neckbreaker combo would drop Lorcan for a 2.9 pin! Lorcan & Parker would get into a slugfest, but Parker would be sent to the apron.

A suplex attempt from Lorcan would go wrong, Parker landing on top. Martel would hold the leg of Lorcan down, and Ever-Rise gets the win! Or that would be the case if the referee didn’t hear Martel loudly yelling at ringside and catch it before the three count. Ever-Rise would argue with the referee, Burch would tag, apply a crossface and Parker quickly tapped out.

Will Ever-Rise ever realize they are responsible for their own losses? Is the referee part of the conspiracy? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
