We’re back to find the locker room surrounding the ring with Sheamus and Big E jawing in the ring before the bell rang.
Big E vs. Sheamus
The opening lockup led to Sheamus backing Big E into one corner, then Big E backing Sheamus into the opposite on.
A third lockup led to Big he locking in a headlock until Sheamus threw him off the ropes and they hit with double shoulder blocks, with neither of them going anywhere.
Sheamus gained the upper hand off the roped with a knee, then Big E hit with a clothesline to send Sheamus out of the ring.
Big E his with a shoulder block and drove Sheamus into the steel steps, then set Seamus on the apron and hit with several forearms before hitting with a splash.
Big E tried to pull Sheamus into the ring, and Sheamus hung him up on the rope, then hit with a clothesline off the top rope.
Sheamus then held Big E over the ropes and hit with several forearms before pulling him into the ring.
Big E fought out of a headlock, but Sheamus caught him with an Irish Curse backbreaker when Big E came of the ropes.
The lights started to flicker ala Retribution again as we headed to commercial.
The battle rages
We’re back without an attack yet, and Big E hit Sheamus with a pair trio of belly-to belly suplexes.
Big E then gyrated over Sheamus before going off the ropes and hitting with a splash.
Big E started the New Day clap, and readied for the Big Ending, but Sheamus slipped out, then kicked Bug E.
Sheamus missed with a Brogue Kick, but hit with a knee for a near pinfall.
Sheamus continued pounding on Big E as they got to their feet.
Big E slipped out of a slam attempt and his with a one-armed slam for a near pin on Sheamus.
Sheamus slipped to the apron and caught a Big E spear with a knee.
Sheamus grabbed the ropes to slip out fo a Big Ending, and Big E hit the ring post when Sheamus sidestepped a shoulder block.
Sheamus hit with a White Noise, But King Corbin hit Matt Riddle from behind outside the ring and started a scrum while Sheamus was about to hit with a Brogue Kick
Big E took advantage of the distraction to roll Sheamus up for the pin.
Sheamus is so going to make Corbin’s life miserable for costing him two matches.
Backstage, Jeff Hardy was in the trainer’s room after he apparently hurt his knee when someone hit him from behind. He doesn’t know who it was.
Looks like another mystery surrounding Jeff Hardy. WWE Smackdown Results and Recap aren’t sure how we feel about this.
