CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers here with some fun spoilery goodies to help keep the week flowing, and it looks like we’re in for another emotionally charged episode.
Given how they like to balance things out, we’re taking the optimistic approach that they’ll change things up and give us two wins for the price of one.
The first bit of spoilery fun is that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will receive news about her test results. This is hugely important and something she’s been waiting for, so we’re crossing our fingers for her.
While her current storyline could be ending, another is going to take a big step forward when Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) decides to give Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) what she asked for.
This could open a whole can of worms she and the rest of us don’t expect, but that’s always part of the fun, right?

And the results say…
CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers have to admit we won’t be surprised if the powers-that-be decide to keep Sharon’s cancer story going to wring every ounce of emotion out of us.
To be honest, we’d prefer they end this storyline up with a cancer free diagnosis.
Given what we’ve all had to deal with for the last five months, we think a positive ending to this would be far better than drawing out an illness angle until whenever.
The thing is, we watch for escapism, and in an age where it’s the “cool thing” to push agendas through shows and movies, being allowed to escape from things is needed.
Devon hands it over
After thinking things through, Devon will decide to give Amanda something of Hilary Curtis’ that’ll have her DNA and will help Amanda with her quest.
In doing this, he’s going to lower his walls and allow her into a tender part of his heart as he hands over a cherished possession.
It’ll be his hope that Amanda will be able to use it to find her family and the answers that go with them.
It’ll be a huge opportunity for her to heal and for him to honor the woman he loved.
But there is the chance that it’ll be a rough road, and that could affect them and those they care about. This is going to be a fun ride.
