Being a Cruiserweight in WWE pays well, if you’re Ariya Daivari at least. The 205 Live OG made his return to the brand recently, and has been very dominant thus far, if not a bit cocky. He’s even cocky enough to wager $10,000 dollars, and take on three opponents back to back to back. Would Ariya Daivari need to pay up?
Quickly Taking Out Eli Knight
Already in the ring for what is sure to be an epic and hard fight for Daivari, is Eli Knight. The bell would ring, they would lock up and Knight would be hit with a belly to back suplex, before being slammed face first into the corner. Some quick jabs and a leg lariat would drop Knight again, before he’d be tied up in the tree of woe.
A running dropkick followed by the Hammerlock Lariat? Ariya Daivari dispatched opponent number one without breaking a sweat. Send another!
The Second Opponent Doesn’t Get A Name Plate
While Eli Knight got named by WWE, the next victim of Daivari would not be so lucky. He would hit the ring and grab a headlock, but get shoved off with ease, before being run through with a clothesline. Daivari would drag him up and be shoved to the ropes, hitting a boot to the face as his opponent closed in, and then throwing them throat first into the bottom rope.
Some outside brawling would soften this guy up, and he’d manage to get a boot up in the corner stunning Daivari! A $10000 Crossbody off the top rope… and Daivari causally steps out of the way. A Hammerlock Lariat, and make it two for two. Who’s next?
No One Gets Their Hands On Ariya Daivari Money
Third to the ring was Jason Cain of MLW fame, who’d explode into the ring ready to take Daivari out. He’d hit a running lariat and look for a rollup, before hitting a running hurricanrana. Daivari, despite two squash matches, was looking a bit winded as he got chopped in the corner.
He’s been caught off guard, but a Uranage would slam Cain into the mat for a two count. Daivari would look for a suplex, Cain countered into a small package. Cain was on a roll at this point, but would be leveled by a superkick, letting Daivari hit a Hammerlock Lariat, ending this one.
Should Jason Cain get another chance in WWE after nearly getting the upset? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
