I’m your host, CP Bialois, and this should be a fun eppisode we expect to be heavy on tribute to the Undertaker with his Final appearance coming for Survivor Series.
Now’s a great time for us to grab some snacks before settling in, but that doesn’t mean the party has to stop.
WWE Smackdown Live Results will be back at 8 p.m. EST for the start of the show, so until then why don’t you share some of your favorite Undertaker memories in the comments below.,
Segment 1
Roman Reigns started the show by talking about Randy Orton, but Drew McIntyre came out and got in his face.
Jey Uso then came out and challenged McIntyre to a match later tonight.
Segment 2
Intercontinental Championship – Sami Zayn (c) vs. Apollo Crews
A short but decent match saw Zayn win by countout after tying Crews’ foot into the metal underside of the ring.
Segment 3
Bayley distracted Sasha Banks during a promo and Carmella superkickd her from behind.
There was no sign of Bayley around the ring afterwards. Guess her job was done and she’s a sidekick now?
Segment 4
Dolph Ziggler (w/Robert Roode) vs. Otis
This was a squash match Otis won with the catterpillar and Vader Bomb.
Segment 5
Chad Gable recruited Otis as a training partner and had an evil look in his eyes.
Segment 6
No Holds Barred – Seth Rollins (w/Murphy) vs. Rey Mysterio
Finally, this feud is suppoes to come to an end. With any luck, Murphy will betray Rollins hard when the match starts.
So far this is the match of the night and a fitting end to their feud as Rey slid out of the ring and landed on Rollins as we headed to commercial.
Segment 7
Murphy hit Rollins with a running knee to turn the tables, and Rey hit with a frog splash for the win.
Afterwards, Murphy was welcomed into the Mysterio family.
Segment 8
Survivor Series Qualification Fatal Four Way Match – Natalya vs. Tamina vs. Liv Morgan vs. Chelsea Green
A so-so match ended with Liv Morgan hitting a Facebuster on Tamina for the win.
Tamina and Chelsea Green disappeared for a large protion of this match and that didn’t help it much.
Segment 9
Unsanctoned Match – Drew McIntyre vs. Jey Uso
A pretty good match saw McIntyre dominate early, but Jey sent him to the floor with a superkick as we headed to comemrical.
Segment 10
A good back and forth match saw McIntyre hit with a Claymore after Reigns came down and instructed Jey to make him understand.
After winning, McIntyre asked Reigns if he understood him now, and Reings said they’d see on Sunday.
The show was a little rough at times, but the main event and Rollins vs Mysterio were worth the wait.
