Over his run in AEW, Cody Rhodes has become something of a ‘giant killer’. He’s got wins over Lance Archer, Mr. Brodie Lee and Wardlow, among others. However, he has a very big challenge ahead.
After shooting a show with NBA legend Shaq for TNT, Shaq is ready to step into the wrestling ring once again. Jade Carigal sent the first message for Shaq to Rhodes, but this week, Shaq comes himself. Brandi Rhodes was there in a sling, thanks to Jade Carigill, Nyla Rose & Vickie Guerrero. Carigill represents Shaq in AEW.
Shaq Doesn’t Want Any Trouble
The other day, Shaq was catching up on AEW and saw Jade’s interaction with Cody Rhodes. He & Jade go back a long way, and he wants nothing but the best for her. That being said, he feels she went too far with the arm of Rhodes. Brandi didn’t deserve it, but she wants to stop all this.
Shaq would love to see Jade vs. Brandi, but that’s not what he’s here for. He went at Rhodes on Twitter, and was just messing around. Shaq just wants to see Jade wrestle, and that seems to be that. Rhodes would shake his hand, before walking off. Shaq would interject once more, and say that she could get some pointers from Jade.
Far From Over
Brandi got offended by this, and threw a cup of water at him and called him an overgrown asshole before stomping off, heels clicking as she walked off screen. This issue is far from over, and will likely only escalate from this point, due to a poor statement from Shaq and overreaction from Rhodes.
