Raw has hit its worst recorded ratings this week. This one though is a major hit.. The reason for this is the fact that it’s the go home show; TLC and that this show was actually written in time before the show. Not the usual last minute dash to get the show written before it goes on air.
With writers saying that they had written this show to cater to Vince McMahon himself. It has been reported that he usually rips the script up not long before the show. This could mean that the writing team might have just given up and just trying to please their boss instead.
The final nail
There has always been some criticism of how Vince has been running the shop. At the moment though with multiple new places for wrestlers to work more has been coming through the wood works over the past couple of years.
This includes the recent report that one of the best performers in WWE; Keith Lee has been made to go back to training. This has shocked a lot of fans and some members of the WWE crew. With Kieth Lee being praised as one of the future stars of WWE, which he showed off in NXT. There is some hope for other underused members of the roster though.
Signs of redemption for Raw
In a recent report, it shows that all writers have been asked to give their top wrestlers who are underused. With Chad Gable and Cesaro being part of nearly all of the lists. Even though there are some other wrestlers like Naomi and Ricochet could also do with a well needed push.
Cesaro and Gable are some of the best underrated wrestlers who have never got their main event push they deserve. This could be the way Raw gets their viewers up as a record low before TLC at 1.5 million. The worry at the minute is if AEW are going to catch up to them. Maybe if this did happen, it could be the push they need for a change.
