Hello and welcome to WWE Raw Live Results!
I’m your host, CP Bialois, and it looks like we’re in for an interesting show as we deal with the fallout from the TLC pay-per-view.
It’ll be interesting to see where they go from here for a few storylines, so we’re going to grab some snacks before settling in.
WWE Raw Live Results will see you back here for the 8 p.m. EST start for the show.
Segment 1
Charlotte Flair came out and celebrated entering the Thunderdome as champion, then introduced her partner and “friend” Asuka.
as Flair was about to ask about the Raw Women’s Championship, Shayna Baszler and Jax came out, followed by Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke, the final four happen to have a match.
Flair and Asuka were getting ready to watch the upcoming match from the announce desk as we headed to commerical.
Segment 2
Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax vs. Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose
This match started sloppy and stayed that way as Jax and Baszler apparently lost most of their toughness with the titles.
Jax did, however, throw Rose into the barricade as we headed to commercial. Maybe they’re just getting warmed up?
Segment 3
The match settled down after the commercial, and Baszler won it with a Coquina Clutch on Brooke.
Segment 4
Championship Edition of the VIP Lounge
The Hurt Business’ celebration was interrupted by R-Truth and the other mid carders as they tried to get the 24/7 championship.
The Hard Bros (Jeff Hardy and Riddle) came out and promised to face Lashley and MVP with their pride, since it can’t be bought. It was a pretty cool promo, and it showed the difference between the groups.
Segment 5
Drew Gulak vs. Angel Garza
Garza won a quick one with a wing clipper, but it was an impressive showing by him as he’s adopted a new more aggressive style. He’s going to be fun to watch.
Segment 6
Miz TV featuring AJ Styles (w/Omos)
The Miz profusely apologized to Styles for costing him the WWE Championship, and McIntyre, Sheamus, and Keith Lee came out.
A brawl ensued, but Styles dropkicked Lee into Sheamus to start them bickering and forcing McIntyre to keep them separated.
Segment 7
Ricochet vs. T-Bar (w/Mustafa Ali, Slapjack, Mace, and Reckoning)
Ricochet vs. T-Bar (w/Mustafa Ali, Slapjack, Mace, and Reckoning)
This was a quick one that Ricochet controlled early on, but T-Bar hit a torture rack backbreaker for the win.
Segment 8
The Hurt Business (MVP and Bobby Lashley) (w/Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin) vs. Jeff Hardy and Riddle
This started fast and the action went back and forth before Jeff and Riddle knocked MVP and Lashley to the floor as we headed to commercial.
Segment 9
This was the best match of the night so far as it was exciting and energetic, but Lashley slapped on the Hurt Lock on Jeff for the submission win.
Segment 10
Jaxson Ryker (w/Elias) vs. Gran Metalik (w/Lince Dorado)
Another fast one that Ryker won with a sit down chokebomb.
Segment 11
Alexa’s Playground
Orton cut a promo about how the Fiend is gone and he’s the one that did it.
As awesome as his promo was, when the lights went out and Alexa Bliss appeared on a swing set, it just ratcheted it up.
She said the Fiend was absorbed into the Earth, but if he comes back it’ll be like nothing Orton has ever seen before.
Segment 12
Charlotte Flair and Asuka vs. Payton and Lacey Evans
This started out fast as Evans and Royce took it to Asuka with a couple of pin attempts. Flair hasn’t been in the ring yet, so we have that coming after the commercial.
Segment 13
A decent match got a little hectic before Flair won by locking in a figure 8 on Royce for the win.
Segment 14
The Miz was on the phone trying to get his MITB contract back since Morrison cashed it in.
Styles hung up the phone for him, saying they have a match.
Drew McIntyre and Sheamus were introduced before the commercial break.
Segment 15
6 Man Holiday Street Fight – Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, and Keith Lee vs. The Miz, John Morrison, and AJ Styles (w/Omos)
This started off pretty even as Sheamus was worked over, but he and Lee seemed to bury the hatchet after a couple of double teams until Lee hit him a bit hard with a double slap while celebrating.
McIntyre had to get between them as we headed to commercial.
Segment 16
This was a fun, chaotic match that Lee won after tagging himself in on Sheamus. He then hit a Spirit Bomb on the Miz for the win.
As they celebrated, Sheamus took out Lee with a Brogue Kick for stealing the win.
McIntyre got in his face, demanding to know why he did it and saying he vouched for him.
Looks like things are going to get interesting.
Overall, the show wasn’t too bad if we ignore the opening match. Even with it the show was better than we expected.
