WWE Smackdown Results have noticed that Kevin Owens is too stubborn for his own good as we found Adam Pearce and Kevin Owens backstage as Pearce implored him to leave it be until Sunday.
Pearce reminded him that he can finish it on Sunday and this wasn’t the time when Jey hit Owens from behind with a steel chair.
Jey nailed him again while telling Owens to stay down, and then walked away.
Belair’s opinion
Back from commercial, Kayla Braxton asked Bianca Belair about her match against Bayley and what it’d mean for her career.
Belair said she’s always wanted to face Bayley as she’s her measuring stick but not a role model, and said she always has something to say.
The Riott Squad (Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott) vs. Billie Kay and Tamina
This match has so much potential, but it feels to WWE Smackdown Results that the Riott Squad seems like they’re held back and put into matches that are too quick for out liking.
Tamina and Moran started it off with Tamina throwing Morgan across the ring and hitting a series of kicks on her.
Morgan rolled out of the way of Tamina’s charge, and the Riott Squad hit a double team in the corner.
Riott rolled Tamina up for a pin attempt, and Tamina responded with a vicious clothesline for a near pinfall.
Tamina then hit a headbutt, but Riott fought back with a couple of rights before Tamina hit a Samoan Drop and went for a pin. Unfortunately, Kay tagged herself in so by the time it was sorted and she went for the cover Morgan broke it up
Kay yelled at the referee and allowed Riott to slip out of her grasp and tag in Morgan. Morgan and Riott then knocked Tamina off the apron with a double dropkick.
Morgan hit a missile dropkick on Kay while Riott held her and scored the win.
At this rate, WWE Smackdown Results can’t help but wonder if Billie Kay will ever find a partner she can work with again. We’re kinda surprised Tamina didn’t wipe her out after the match.
