WWE Smackdown Results loved the snow job Adam Pearce gave about how he got to select the last person for Team Smackdown
He added that there was something about his choice’s story that spoke to him and it’s what Team Smackdown needs.
His choice was Otis because of his compelling story.
Chad Gable made a point of saying “we” did it and they had to train.
Natalya then came up to Pearce about her having another match to try to make the team and he said he already chose Bayley cause the team needs a leader.
Seth Rollins promises mayhem
We came back for Seth Rollins to cut a promo for his match against Murphy.
Rollins pointed out how Murphy was nothing until he saved him and took credit for every good thing Murphy has in life.
He said if it wasn’t for him and the greater good, Murphy never would’ve met Aalyah Mysterio, and he was stabbed in the back and betrayed for his efforts.
He said he will no longer suffer for Murphy’s mistakes, and after he’s finished with his lessons, Murphy will go back to what he was — nothing.
Survivor Series Qualification Match – Natalya vs Tamina
Bianca Belair was on commentary, but as she was talking, Bayley came out to join her.
The match started with Natalya ducking a clothesline and then hitting a series of rights before Tamina pushed her back and hit with a superkick,
Natalya rolled out of the ring and Tamina followed her, and then threw Natalya into the ring steps and then into the ring for a near pinfall.
On commentary, it appears they’re following the Raw men’s team’s example as Bayley named herself team captain and Beliar is taking exception to it.
In the ring, Natalya fought out of a Samoan Drop and was backed into a corner where Tamina leveled her with some elbows before Tamina missed with a shoulder and hit the ring post.
Natalya hit a spinning lariat and locked in a sharpshooter for the win.
About time she won. How many chances was Natalya going to get?
As Natalya celebrated, the Riott Squad came out to join their teammates.
Natalya hugged Bayley but Bayley pushed her off. Bayley motioned for the team to get into the ring to pose.
Bayley lined them up and tried to instill a team spirit. Is she Team Smackdown’s version of AJ Styles of is it just WWE Smackdown Results?
