SmackDown women’s champion Sasha Banks has had a year to remember in WWE, as she has been one of the standout stars. Banks was involved in one of the most enjoyable programmes of the year with Bayley, which ultimately ended with Banks winning the gold at Hell in a Cell. She has since successfully defended the belt this past Sunday against Carmella, which then leads to the question what could be next for the Boss?
WWE SmackDown: Natalya
It would seem as though Natalya is well overdue a title opportunity, and that could soon change. A programme between Natalya and Banks would be the perfect stop-gap feud that the Boss needs at the Royal Rumble before heading on to Mania to face a more realistic contender for the gold. The two could certainly deliver an excellent match at one of the biggest shows of the year, but it is clear that Banks isn’t going to lose the title. A title match between the two would make sense though, as Natalya recently beat Bayley clean on SmackDown. Natalya may feel that victory should be enough to claim a title opportunity against the Boss.
WWE SmackDown: Bayley
One of the most likely feuds that we will see for the women’s title at some point down the line will be a re-match between Bayley and Banks. There will be a huge number of fans that will be hoping that we will have to wait a little longer to see the renewal, as a Mania match between the two could be something that is completely breathtaking. It would certainly appeal to the WWE Universe too, as fans are aware just how much a match between the stars would mean for both women at the biggest show of the year.
WWE SmackDown: Bianca Belair
Let’s face it, Bianca Belair will be a world title winner before the end of next year, and that could mean that a hugely lively feud between Banks and Belair could be on the card. Belair against Banks could be WrestleMania worthy, especially if we don’t see the two stars share the same ring before that moment. It would be a must-see match for the ages, as there is nothing that these two women can’t do in the ring. This would be a match that could potentially steal the show at Mania, and we hope that the WWE invests all their time in making it happen.
