Back in 2020, when Jinder Mahal returned from injury? He was eyeing the WWE Championship, held by his old pal Drew McIntyre. Mahal would get injured again. Now, he has a chance to get back into the conversation, as he teams with The Bollywood Boyz to take on Drew McIntyre & Indus Sher in the main event of Superstar Spectacle.

Ric Flair Is In The House!

Not only do they get to team with the WWE Champion, but they even have Ric Flair in their corner stacking the odds in their favor! Malcolm Bivens must be kicking himself over losing star clients like these. Before the match, Flair would wish everyone a very happy Republic Day.

Mahal would cut him off, saying this show is all about his return to the ring. McIntyre would cut him off, and just show off the WWE Championship Jinder Mahal no longer holds, before welcoming his friend back. However, he’d remind Mahal to not interrupt Flair, and that this show is about the fans in India. It’s time for some fighting, and while Mahal has a nice little team, McIntyre has a Three Man Band of Destruction!

    Indus Sher Came To Win

Mahal would start this one up with McIntyre, but Sunil was sent in instead. Sunil tagged in Sumir, who slapped McIntyre in the face. Sumir was thrown into the corner and McIntyre would batter him before carrying him to the corner in a gutwrench lift. Rinku tagged in and got Sumir in the jaw with a big punch and elbow drop.

Saruv would tag in next, and Sunil’s attacks were just shrugged off before being hit with a big power slam for a near fall. Rinku tagged in, with Saruv holding Sunil up as Rinku hit the big boot to the ribs. Sumir came from behind, and took a double hip toss, before being thrown onto his partner by Mahal as we went to a commercial break.

    Drew McIntyre Hinders Jinder Mahal

Back from the break, Sumir was being ragdolled by Indus Sher before slipping free and getting Rinku in his corner. Mahal would help Sumir gain control, before driving Rinku into the corner post. The arm would be attacked, and Sumir was able to get a big axe handle, before Sunil hit an elbow drop off the top rope for a near fall. Rinku was isolated by Bollywood Boyz, with his arms the target. Mahal came back in, nailed a side kick before a double knee armbreaker.

Rinku took advantage of a distracted Mahal, and got a suplex before tagging in McIntyre. He’d run through Mahal and hit a series of Belly to Belly Suplexes, and a jumping neckbreaker. McIntyre was fully fired up, and wanted Claymore but Mahal got the running knee strike instead. Sunil was tagged alongside Saruv, who just ran both Bollywood Boyz down before hitting a back suplex and elbow drop.

Mahal tried to help but took a claymore kick from McIntyre, and Indus Sher had Sunil alone. A sidewalk slam elbow drop combo closed this one out.

Will Indus Sher make an impact in NXT once again? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
