WWE Smackdown Results returned as Reginald tried to gain Banks’ favor by offering her a rose, then he removed his jacket and motioned for her to kiss him.
She went for a slap, but he caught her hand, so she hit him with the other one.
Banks then hit a flip off the ropes, but Reginald landed on his feet.
He locked in a reverse waist lock, and Banks slid out and under him, and he did the same before he slid to the floor.
He climbed on to the apron, then backflipped off when Banks ran at him. So, she hit with a baseball slide and followed him out to the floor.
He managed to leap over the ring steps when banks tried to throw him into them, and back into the ring. He displayed some more acrobatics to avoid Banks.
After he countered a sunset flip, banks hit a bulldog, but missed a double knee in the corner.
Reginald missed an elbow drop and then went for the win but Banks countered and flipped him into the corner.
He caught Banks off the top rope with a crossbody, but she rolled him to the floor by holding on when he tried to slam her.
She then hit a meteora on the floor and knocked the champaign glass out of Carmella’s hand.
Banks went for a backstabber that Reginald rolled out of. She then kicked him away when he came at her then used a roll to hit a double knee.
Banks eventually locked in a Bank Statement for the win.
This was entertaining from an athletic point of view, but the outcome was never in doubt as was the fact Banks wasn’t going to take a hit from Reginald.
Backstage, Heyman told Reigns he was so brilliant and they got Pearce. He said he knew what Reigns wanted.
Reigns said he handed him the mic to shred him verbally, so now he has to deliver.
He didn’t hire a punk to be his special council; he hired a man to be his special council.
Reigns then told him to be a man and handle his business and Heyman looked terrified.
Intercontinental Championship – Big E (c) vs. Apollo Crews
This should be a great match, and Crews started it off fast by running int a belly to belly suplex, and Big E positioned him on the apron for a big slam.
Big E then ran into an elbow and boot in the corner. Crews charged him and Big E went for a powerslam, but Crews slipped free and hit a kick and then a superkick, and a standing moonsault for a near pinfall.
Crews then hit a pair of German Suplexes but Big E fought out of a third and hit a nurinagi for a near pinfall.
Crews headed to the floor and Big E followed him. Crews ducked a clothesline and leaped onto the ring apron as Big E ran into the announce desk.
Crews then hit a moonsault off the apron and threw Big E into the ring and headed to the top rope, but Big E met him there.
Big E hit a few forearms on the top rope and Crews blocked his superplex attempt.
A series of headbutts sent Big E to the mat while Sami Zayn unlocked his handcuffs.
Crews hit a missile dropkick and Zayn ran in to hit Crews with a Helluva Kick to coast Crews the match via disqualification.
After jawing with the ref, Zayn hit Big E with a Helluva Kick, then yelled at the unconscious duo before he finally left the ring.
WWE Smackdown Results should’ve suspected this. Oh well, guess Crews and Big E will both want to crush Zayn now.
