WWE Smackdown Results returned and Shinsuke Nakamura was backstage when Sami Zayn called him over and asked if he thinks it’s suspicious that so many Raw guys were around.
He then said he doesn’t know what going on with Nakamura and Cesaro as they seem to be going their different ways.
Zayn then pointed out how they go back a long time and he doesn’t know what went wrong. He pointed out that he did a lot for him and it’s time for Nakamura to help him.
He then listed everyone that he thinks is out to get him, and he needs help to get his Intercontinental Championship back.
Zayn then shifted gears to say everything good that happened to Nakamura was because of him and asked him to watch his back.
Nakamura said he appreciates everything Zayn did for him, but then told him to go to he–.
Reigns and Owens exchange pleasantries
Reigns and Owens were interviewed on different monitors to limit any violence.
Michael Cole asked Owens what does he have to do different to beat Roman Reigns.
Owens said he doesn’t have to do anything different because he’s already beaten Reigns and his family had to beat Owens.
Reigns shook his head throughout, but Owens continued and said he may have family members will be at the PPV. He promised there’s nothing Reigns or his family can do to keep him from standing back up.
Heyman told Owens that he will not address his tribal chief, head of the table that way.
He said Owens will speak of Reigns in reverence and respect.
Owens asked Reigns if he’s going to react to the same crap Heyman has used for other people.
Reigns said he doesn’t want to talk about his family, and instead said he’s confused by Owens.
He asked what kind of man was Owens’ father.
Owens told him his father is a great man, so Reigns needs to watch where he’s going.
Reigns next asked if he’s a smart man.
Owens said he is and warned Reigns to watch what he says next.
Reigns said he’s trying to understand why Owens doesn’t understand his own limits, and it must be because he was taught that.
Reigns said Owens is a pawn while he is the king. Owens is ill equipped and unable to win the Universal Championship. He added he doesn’t blame Owens.
He added that if Owens is a fool, and so is his father and grandfather for teaching him to be a fool.
Owens said he knew what Reigns was trying to do, and again told Reigns to watch what he says because on Sunday they won’t be in separate rooms.
Reigns told Heyman that he still doesn’t understand, but maybe one day when Owens meets his grandfather again he’ll understand.
He called Owens a disgrace to his family and asked why he didn’t acknowledge Reigns as his tribal chief.
Owens replied that the only thing his father and grandfather would want to call him is what he is: a delusional jacka–.
Owens pointed out that Reigns is only trying to hide the fact that he’s only an insecure bully. He then promised that he’ll be the last man standing, but walked out when he couldn’t calm himself down.
This was a great back and forth, and WWE Smackdown Results think Owens has to win this or this whole build up will feel like a waste. What do you think?
