He started by saying he thought he had it all figured out when he came there with Cody, and now he was betrayed by Cody.
He sees another path to be with his family again, but he never thought it’s be what he wanted and Violence By Design came out with Eric Young at the front as they headed to the ring.
Young, Cody, and Joe Doering entered the ring and stood across from Jake.
Young told him not to look at Cody but at him, and said he hears his words and feels his voice. He said he can see Jake is understanding what’s going on and that there’s only one answer.
He told Jake to open his eyes and see the truth and be the real him; the best version of Jake.
This is the moment where Jake takes ownership, control, and his life.
Jake removed his vest and tossed it to the mat.
He said that if you don’t stand for something you’ll fall for anything. He said he stands for Jake Something and he went after Cody.
Doering hit him with a short clothesline and Doering and Young stomped him down while Cody grabbed a chair.
Young put the chair around his neck but stopped Doering from stomping the chair and asked if Cody wants this and said it’s family business.
He told Jake he made the wrong choice and he said it Jake and Cody at No Surrender where Cody will end his sickness for good.
Violence By Design left the ring. Family versus family is always a good match, and Impact Wrestling Results have high hopes for this one.
Rohit Raju cut a promo about how TJP couldn’t beat him when he was X-Division Champion and how he had to turn to Manik, so he turned to his monster, Shera.
He promised there will be no mercy for TJP at No Surrender and promised the title will come back to him where it belongs.
