An injury to Keith Lee changed the card for tonight, but opened a big chance for four men. Bobby Lashley was going to defend the WWE United States Championship against Riddle & Lee, but Lashley injured Lee on Monday Night RAW this past week. Now Ricochet, Mustafa Ali, John Morrison & Elias will battle it out to become the third man in this Triple Threat later tonight. Ali was flanked by Mace, T-Bar & Slapjack of Retribution, and Elias, Morrison, & Ricochet were all alone.
Ricochet Takes Serious Punishement
Starting up, Ricochet nailed Ali with a dropkick, before he was beaten down by Elias & Morrison. Ricochet dodged Elias and hit a pump kick on Morrison, before hitting an enziguri on Elias. He wanted to dive to the outside, but Ali pulled him off the ropes and rolled him up for a two count. All four men would get back in the ring, Ali brawling with Ricochet while Elias went after Morrison.
Elias would take control of the ring after taking out Morrison, hitting some hard chops on Ricochet, then a Mule Kick. He wanted the rolling cutter, Morrison grabbed him to set up a DDT, and Ali rolled in and dropped them all with a neckbreaker. Ali got a two count, before getting back to throwing strikes with Ricochet. Ricochet got a sunset flip, Ali rolled through and stomped his ankle before hitting a high angle back suplex.
Mustafa Ali Gets Distracted
Elias hit a running knee strike on Ali, but Slapjack pulled the leg to help Ali out. Ricochet took a sit out chokeslam from Elias, but Ali broke the pinfall up. Elias would take Ali out, only to be kicked by Morrison who hit Moonlight Drive on Ricochet for a near fall. Starship Pain would miss, Ricochet dodging at the last second.
Ali went after Ricochet again alongside Elias, both me being dropped with a moonsault. A half & half suplex on Morrison got a near fall, but Ali broke it up before hitting a tornado DDT on Elias. Ali couldn’t get the pinfall before taking a 450 Splash from Ricochet, but Retribution pulled Ali out. Ricochet hit a dive over the top rope, and was caught in a double powerbomb. However, Ali was distracted in the ring and rolled up John Morrison, who moved on to the triple threat!
