WWE Smackdown Results tuned in as Morgan hit with a dropkick as soon as the bell rang and followed it up with a series of rights, but Bayley threw her into a corner and hit a couple of kicks.
Bayley whipped her back into the corner but Morgan flipped over her. So, Bayley hit with an elbow and went for a clothesline but Morgan countered by bending backwards into a bridge in a way that looked painful to us.
Morgan tripped Bayley into the second rope and hit her in the back with a dropkick, and then a missile dropkick for a pin attempt.
Bayley slipped to the floor to buy some time, and Morgan knocked her off the apron when she tried to climb in.
Morgan went for a body block off the steps and Bayley sidestepped her, sending Morgan into the barricade.
Bayley the rolled her into the ring for a pin attempt but Morgan kicked out.
Bayley stomped her and wrapped her left arm around the ropes.
Morgan fought back and bought some time, then rolled through Bayley’s charge so Bayley hit the turnbuckle. Morgan then hit a face buster off the ropes for a near pinfall.
Morgan leaped onto the second rope after being whipped into a corner and Bayley caught her with a right and hit a shoulder breaker for a near pinfall.
Billie Kay strikes again
Morgan held onto the ropes and hit a step up kick and a double knee to the face for a near pinfall.
Billie Kay came out to apologize to Ruby Riott on the floor and refused to take no for an answer.
Bayley took advantage of the referee being distracted by raking Morgan’s eyes and hit a knee for the win.
This was a good match, but we wish they’d figure out what to do with Billie Kay and the Riott Squad. We’re sure there’s something planned, but we’re trying to figure out what it is.
Bayley told Kay she doesn’t think they like her very much as she laughed.
Backstage, Cesaro was asked if he can compete in hit qualification match tonight and he said yes.
He intends to take advantage of his chance. Bryan then said Cesaro is a tough dude. WWE Smackdown Results can’t wait to see them in action as a team.
